Excellent quality vegan food worth the trip up to Montour Falls. The bakery items are especially good -- I haven't tried a... "meh" one yet, which is surprising actually! The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Recently, there's been a pushtowards special events requiring buying tickets in advance. The tea parties have been outstanding -- if one is on the calendar,try not to miss it! Read more
We just left the tea party and it was outstanding! The place was nicely decorated and name cards were made for each person. The... food was absolutely delicious and generously portioned! The picture is just sandwiches, scones, and sweets. There was also soup,salad, and of course tea! We had to bring a box home because we were stuffed with amazing goodies! This was actually our secondtime eating Grandma's Kitchen, as the last was a to-go for Mother's Day that they delivered to us at the falls. Great family andgreat food! Highly, highly recommend!! Our family stopped here in the middle of a road trip. Such a gem?and a wonderful surprise in a small town! Really sweet vibe and... delicious food. Had some yummy baked goods (our toddler was a big fan of the cake pop!) and a dinner to go that included areally good mac and cheese. I would recommend it to my non-vegetarian/vegan friends as well. The menu is relatively limited and items seem to sell out quickly, but that's what makes places like Grandma's Kitchen so... intimate and experiential, especially compared to industry chains that put no real Love into their offerings. My breakfastcasserole was delicious, and the potatoes and sausage patties were prepared perfectly. I got an assortment of treats to-go, andso far they have all been decadent and bursting with flavor. We needed a vegan birthday cake when we were in town and Grandma's Kitchen was highly recommended to us. The order process was... quick and easy. When we picked up the cake, it was gorgeous but unfortunately it didn't survive the drive. Casey was genuinelyapologetic (even though it wasn't her fault) and went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help save the day for us.
