Make my own. Yes please. What. Unique experience. Enjoyed picking out our steak and cooking it over the huge indoor barbeque... pit. Sides and potatoes already on the grill. Perfect. The building is rustic and can hold a lot of people. We got there ona Sunday and as it was opening. We still had great conversation while cooking our steaks and just a great experience. My wife and I visited Rube?s in Montour over the weekend and could not be more thrilled about our experience. From the smoked... old-fashioned cocktail and red wine, to the charcoal grill-your-own steak and amazing creamy jalapeño corn side, to thedelicious chocolate cake, we were impressed every step of the way. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the cozyatmosphere just brought everything together. We can?t wait to go back for many date nights in the future! Read more
This place is so cool and delicious! I ordered the Tuna Steak and my husband got a ribeye. We went to the grill and had fun... making our Texas toast and grilling out pieces of meat. I was being careful with my Tuna steak because I just wanted it searedin all sides. Back at the table I cut into it and noticed it was frozen. I sliced it into smaller pieces and asked our waitress,Abby, for a new skillet (mine had sides on it already). She was so apologetic and had a new skillet brought to me. I was able tocook the tuna perfectly and enjoyed my meal. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came. They comped my tuna!!! I am soimpressed with the service and the food! Abby was delightful!! The key to a great steak starts at the meat quality and this place has some of the highest quality I've ever had. With the... butcher shop across the street and the cattle raised in the surrounding pastures, I cant think of a better farm to tableexperience. Read more

First time here didn't know what to expect. Wasn't disappointed. Grill wasn't hot enough to start but got hotter. Bacon... wrapped filet was melt in your mouth. Service was exemplary. With Callie we didn't want for anything. She was great. Read more
This was my first time to Rube's & I have to say I was very impressed. While I'm normally not big on the "grill your own steak"... places the atmosphere & the setup were phenomenal. The steaks were good, the fried potatoes were perfect, & the house creamyparmesan dressing was great. The grilling area was kept immaculately clean & they did a good job of making sure everyone waskept socially distant from each other. Read more
This place used to be THE place to go back in the day. Unfortunately, like a lot of small restaurants, it requires some very... much needed updating. Also, used to come with a nice salad bar but they're still using Covid as an excuse for not offering thatanymore. Read more
