Reviews for Shake Shack in Monticello, UT
Good little spot for a burger and a shake. Food is just OK and prices seem a little high, but it's a small town and I get it.... Shakes are excellent and the four young ladies working are hustling and providing great service. Read more
The building could use some upgrades but the service, size of the portions provided in our cups of hard ice cream, flavor, and... very reasonable prices were so satisfying. If passing through Monticello, UT they are worth stopping by. Read more
Food quality below average for a small town burger joint, prices above average for a small town burger joint. The steak and... swiss had a sour taste, which I'm assuming was either their seasoning choice (some kind of lemon pepper perhaps?) or off flavorsfrom the cooking surface. The bun was a soggy, cheap, grocery style roll. The fish sandwich was overcooked and the burger wassmall and limp. Their soft serve had a sour taste as well, maybe passed use by date or again picking up off flavors fromstorage. Sandwich prices are closer to what I'd expect to pay for a combo. Combo prices are what I'd expect to pay at a decentCafe. Hopefully the overpriced food is helping pay higher wages for their high school employees at least. Read more
I was informed by the lovely manager that the location is seasonal, not opened during the winter. These photos and this... information will apply to the summer of 2022. The sweet ladies (who agreed to be in the photo) cooking, making shakes, andtaking orders were all super friendly and helpful. They got our food to us quickly even with us being a larger group. Food wasgood and didn't make anyone feel ill, which after a day of hiking or visiting outdoor sites is actually important. The shakeswere especially good. Read more

I am a traveler staying a few nights in Monticello, Utah. There are only a few restaurant choices in this small town. The hotel... staff recommended Shake Shack. I went there and ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and a peach shake. The counter clerkwas pleasant and my food tasty. While I was eating my meal there was a shift change. Most of the staff appear to be high schoolstudents. Before I left I ordered a southwest chicken sandwich, a fish sandwich, and an order of onion rings to go. My plan wasto stop by my hotel and place the food in the room refrigerator so I would have an evening and breakfast meal. My hotel isplaying the Covid card and offers nothing for breakfast. Regardless, after visiting Canyonlands NP (Needles District) I returnedback to my hotel and heated up the fish sandwich and onion rings. They were tasty. This morning I heated up the southwestchicken sandwich and am very annoyed and disappointed. I don?t know if this was a prank but the chicken (like a Phillycheesesteak) was mixed up with what appeared as the blackened grill scrappings from weeks of not being cleaned. The salt contentwas probably five times what anyone would consider tasty. I still have the awful tasty in my stomach. I should have taken therest of the sandwich back to the venue and demanded to speak to the owner. For my part, I do not like writing poor reviews. Thatsaid, I am sharing my experience with others so you can avoid a bad situation. I recommend if you eat at the shake shack you eatinside so if you have the same awful experience I had you can get it corrected. Read more
Delicious 'mini' peach shake and excellent bacon cheeseburger. Also got the Point Break 'refresher' and will have to try to... recreate this once I'm home- it's SO good! Friendly, prompt service as well. Definitely stop by if you're driving through. Read more
I was happily surprised with how good the food was at this mom an pop shop! I got the Philly cheese with some fries and a 32oz... mixed drink. I definitely loved every bite. The staff was sweet and got things made up quick. The seating wasn't bad at all andhad plenty with how busy they were! It wasn't too costly either. Highly recommend checking out this place if you get thepleasure of stopping in! Read more
