Food was perfectly adequate. The BBQ sandwich tastes like it's cooked in a crockpot not on a smoker. It's fine enough, but just... so you know what you're in for. The baked potato salad was very good. Coleslaw was NOT good. I think it had bell pepper in itwhich is a flavor I did not appreciate in coleslaw. I had a peach fried pie which was VERY good. Light, crispy, and not at alloily or greasy. The others at my table got burgers and fries which they compared favorably to a Wendy's burger. Not a bargain,but not overpriced for what you get. Perfectly adequate place with fast service, better to go here than some chain fast foodplace. The staff are wonderful. Helpful, polite, and efficient. Read more
Ordered the chopped BBQ pork sandwich, baked potato salad, baked beans special and cheesecake fried pie. Everything was... delicious. I was a bit disappointed in the proportion of bbq I got and had to eat about 1/3 of the fried pie to bite intofilling though. BBQ didn't have enough kick for me but was still tasty. I will go back to try other items when I pass throughagain. Read more
The only downside was every table was dirty. We could not use a booth as we needed a highchair so i used a napkin to clean a... table for us to use. I watched one employee come out and scan the room then went back behind counter without touching anything.Later another employee came out to clean, she was extremely pleasant while she cleaned the tables. The customer service was great! Definitely up to my standards. I ordered the Fish Dinner plate; with Onion Rings and Fries. I... also ordered a Cheeseburger with everything on it. I am proud to say for my first time eating here. I was surly notdisappointed. The food tasted Good, it was quick and affordable. And the young lady at the counter complemented me on myperfume. Let?s start with the service, the young ladies were so sweet and helpful!!! They answered any questions we had, plus gave us... details about the menu items. I don?t normally leave reviews, but this is the second time we?ve had a bad experience at Ray?s. We called 10 minutes ahead and... placed our order. When I arrived, I paid and got our drinks and waited another 20 minutes. I saw an order placed by the windowwhen I paid. 20 minutes later, one of the girls walked over and grabbed the sack that was placed by the window and handed to me.I had even asked earlier to check on our order. Our burgers were cold and our fries were too cold to even eat. I?m so disgusted!Lack of service is awful. They were busy but not too busy to get the orders out. Experienced Ray?s for dinner while visiting. Quaint place, but very clean, reasonable prices and friendly staff.
