There was a new menu item (potato soup) that I didn't care for, and I wasn't even going to say anything, but when an employee... came over and asked me how everything was, I told him the truth about how I felt. He was so sweet about it and bent overbackwards trying to offer me different remedies, alternatives, etc. Good pizza, great salads, outside seating with beautifullake view, and outstanding customer service. Heard so many bad stories but wanted to try this place. Came with a group of 8 people. My food came out on time and gets 5 stars... as well as 6 others. Two of the group they royally messed up the order. One of those that didn't get their food had 2 previouslybad experiences. They ended up making it right, comped two of the meals but in the end was a disaster. I'll try one more timebecause the food was really good. This review covers non-pizza items only. For lunch I tried their panini-style meatball sub, boneless chicken wings, and Caesar... salad. None were great. The panini bread was soaked in oil, almost dripping on the plate. The meatballs inside were lacking indensity, texture, and flavor. The wings were just okay - basically white chicken nuggets straight from the freezer, withextra-thick breading and a traditional buffalo sauce. No blue cheese dressing available, just ranch. Tasteless chicken but goodsauce. The Caesar salad was just lettuce, two croutons, and Caeser salad dressing. The food is ordered at the counter andbrought out by a server. This one seemed surprised when I requested a fork for the salad. I guess you're supposed to pick upeverything you need from the drinks wall. The buildout is very nice, comfortable and surprisingly large given the layout.Outdoor tables are on two sides, most offering a great view of the lake and marina. Overall I'm guessing that pizza is reallywhat this place does, and all the extra stuff is an attempt to turn it into an Italian restaurant. I haven't tried their pasta,but based on this experience I'd suggest cutting back the menu and focusing on pizza. I hear that that's pretty good.
