Hands down? the best chicken I?ve had in a while and the best food I?ve ever, really had in Chicago ???????????. They are... located inside of the service center but the food was really good and I?ll be back. We ordered the 40 piece wings, catfish, 2Philly cheese steaks and okra and didn?t have one compliant. Phone orders require you to pay over the phone but that wasn?t anissue and I totally understand the reason for it. If you haven?t been, you must try when you have a taste for something on theirmenu. I will say without the delivery apps I may have never found The Chicken Coop. But, I am glad I did. What I love about this is... that 1. It's real pieces of chicken. Size is great. 2. The breading and flavors is something that I would get from the south. 3.Smart about adding the slice of bread to make sure the food doesn't get wet from the condensation. I paid $32.38 for 20 wings and a "large" fry. I've been coming here on and off since 2014 and I think this will be my last time.... They have reduced the size of the wings they use, increased the price, and now provide sub par service. In addition to that theycharge extra for mild sauce and don't provide any at all with the purchase of a meal. Before they combined/expanded Chicken Coopand the Family Pantry they provided more food options, were less expensive, they were more friendly, and the quality of the foodwas better. Although their chicken is still good, I will happily travel further for more chicken and fish that is just as goodif not better, is less expensive, and comes with better customer service. Read more
