I've heard Good things about the Restaurant, do decided to grab Dinner. Order a Fish Sandwich, Simple!!! Well the Sandwich was... between 2 small pieces of White Bread, a Old , Hard Piece if Lettuce and Tomatoe. The Fish was just broken in half on thrownedon Top. Ask to Speak with a Manager, and the Lady came to the Window. Was very Nice, and asked me to allow them to make thingsright..Big Mistake. The Philly Sandwich was just as Bad!!!!! Every experience is it's own so sometimes reading reviews will make you biased from the start. I have wanted to try JJ's Seafood... & Wings for a while now and finally on Friday got the opportunity. I ordered the snow crab boil medium with Cajunspice...Wonderful! It was so wonderful I went back the next day! Ordered the same just to compare and ordered my son the shrimpboil. Portion sizes are above average, customer service was great on both occasions, and the prices are standard. I don't doubtthe bad experiences read on reviews and I'm sure I may encounter one at some point but keep in mind you can't get it right allthe time because no restaurant will. Judge for yourself. Very pleased and surprised. First visit. Not much available in Montgomery that serves good seafood for takeout. Portions were... very generous, price was reasonable and the catfish fillets were very tasty. Young lady at window was nice. Will definitelyreturn and try more items, menu seems quite extensive. I ordered and paid for flounder but what I received was a less expensive fish possibly whiting which I don't like. I ended up... giving it to the dog and she only sniffed it and ate a little bit and walked away. It was not a good fish. My daughter got sickafter eating her fish. I will never go there again. I purchased 2lbs of king crabs which totaled 79.00. The cashier was very polite with taking my order. But, the food was NOT... waiting for! I ordered garlic butter lightly, but there was definitely no sauce! Corn was very undercooked. Patatoes might aswell should of been red mashed! Sausages were horrible!!! My family and I went for some seafood at JJ's Seafood and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time going and I ordered the... seafood boil w/shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. It was Cajun and medium spicy. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thecashier/order taker was nice, friendly and patient. I will definitely be going back. Read more
Had a great lunch with some friends. They definitely give you a lot for your money. We dined in so the fries didn't come with... salt. We had to add our own. The flounder and the lemon pepper wings were good. Read more
