The older lady who uses a cane was very sweet and attentive. My brother and I had lunch there and they was out of chicken fried... steak...so we tried chicken fried chicken...trust me and pass on that. Pancakes were under cooked and tasted like batter. Otherthan the food, if you like the small town atmosphere it's a decent truck stop diner. Read more

Good waitress, only 1 person doing it all, except for cooking they have a cook for kitchen. Very nice lady, even when she had... rude customers she never wavered from being nice. It's all in the attitude be kind, goes along ways...keep up the good work! Read more

* If you don't fall in love with the wonderful Miss Tina, something is wrong with your heart. Such a joy :-) You are met with a... smile and a kind word. Starts your visit out just right. I had the steerburger with onions and mushrooms. Brown Gravy toppedthat and the mashed potatoes. My cooks, Jason and Jimmy, cooked that ground beef perfect. Was moist and had more than a faircompliment of onions and mushrooms. A salad came with the meal as well. Miss Tina brought that to the table hot. Very fillingmeal. Not sure I have oom for the apple pie....but maybe... Just wanted to make sure I left these folks a well earned Review. Iwill certainly be back, even if I am in a hurry, I will step in just to get that Smile from Tina :-) ....my day will be betterbecause of it. Thanks for being you, Tina :-) boB. Read more

It seems that since covid hit many truck stops don't want to work anymore. Less food available and less hours open. Kinda like... the general public and how every company is hiring. Country Pride used to take pride in their food. Not anymore. The menu is1/4 what it used to be and almost every item on the menu is designed to push drivers blood sugar over 500. I was debatingwhether or not to give 1 star, but the staff was friendly and the food was good. Read more

Update: May 29, 2020: We went again and Annette (I believe was her name) was our waitress. She is such a sweetheart! She has the... best attitude????..Anyway, our cups never went empty and she went above and beyond for us. She was a wonderful waitress. Again, the food was just as amazing... We've decided we're just gonna move here???? My husband said they'd have to put a table out inthe middle of the floor because he would get so big...???? Tina (the sweet lady that I'd forgotten to get her name last time)was there and remembered us. ???? You walk out feeling you've gained some good friends. Side Note: I love that they playChristian music.???? ------------ ????If I could give it more stars, I would!!!! John cooked an amazing meal! The chicken fried chicken (gravy on the side) was soooo good. The ribeye had a wonderful flavor. The sweet tea was true southern sweet tea. Themashed potatoes and gravy, salad, stew, garlic bread, grilled green beans and mac and cheese were all wonderful as well. Ronald, while being a quiet-kindly gentleman kept our glasses filled. The sweet lady that worked with him (I'm so sorry, I didn't gether name), rounded out our 1st time eating here. I'm sure it won't be the last!!!!!! (Sorry...I mean't to get a picture beforeeating...but after tasting it, we forgot!????) Read more
