Food was good but wish they had more ingredients for fresh green salads. Diced Chicken or turkey, boiled eggs and raw carrots.... The prices are great allowing people with seriously limited incomes to eat out. Read more

Since the Pandemic, the food selection and freshness has begun to slip downward. Not as many items to chose from, items... available are sometimes cold, and the items on the bar are very low in quantity and quality. I will give them one more try. Read more

Hadn't been here since the start of the pandemic but decided to give it a go with my Ma for Sunday Lunch, and it was pretty... good. Nothing new, all the same meats/chicken and sides. Great meaty BBQ pork spare ribs, and best waitstaff in town, they arealways very nice, warm, and accommodating. ???????? Read more

Fried Tomato Buffet can be hit or miss based on the location. We stopped at this location in Montgomery,AL as we made our way... back to GA from Mississippi. This location had more meat and side options (meats included: ribs, fried fish, fried chicken, baked chicken, and country fried steak) and the food was well seasoned, but the overall experience was just okay to me. Thepricing was a bit higher than other Fried Tomato Buffets. The location in Mcdonough,GA charges ~$11 for adults. This locationwas charging $9-11 for kids, which is higher than normal for small buffet pricing, especially since my son did not eat anythingexcept for their ice cream, which I could have just paid for separately for $1. On a positive note, it was cool to see that theyhad a drive through window. There was a staff member constantly fixing plates for the guests that were using drive throughservices. I enjoyed the country fried steak and fried chicken, but felt that the chicken salad was too sweet, yams were toosweet and some of the fried items were too greasy (not drained - such as the fried green tomatoes). My family liked the flavorof the soul food better than the GA location, but I felt that the food was just okay. Overall, I'd recommend for families whoenjoy soul food in the area. Read more

Three stars for the selection price and service only. The food isnt bad . But it?s not great. It?sok. If you like seasoned food... it?s not that. Everything was cooked well but was just missing a little something . Great service. Our sever was Debbie . Shewas VERY attentive and friendly . Fresh food selections . They kept the bar filled and stocked . Number of items to choose from. The best thing on the buffet was the fried chicken, the rutabagas ( really enjoyed them) apple cobbler and the sweet tea . Itried SEVERAL items and everything was just too bland for my liking . Wouldn?t try again only because nothing except the itemsmentioned above made me want to go back for seconds . Read more

The food is good and the service is usually great. The menu doesn't change often but they do have different things on different... days off the week. They are a little pricey but for a buffet it's still worth it. They have a drive thru now and they also offertakeout plates for those not interested in eating inside. Read more
