Very mediocre and disappointing . Got the grilled salmon salad- just from the picture the salmon looks sad and it tasted sad... too. The potatoes in the salad were very cold and hard, it was clear it had just been taken out of a fridge. The green beanswere warm, likely microwaved. The tomatoes were huge chunks. The whole salad just didn?t go together at all, very random, piecesthat were cold and warm and room temperature and the salmon was not done right. The halibut tacos ? two very large dense tacos,could have been better if it was three smaller tacos. Overall very average tacos. The salad on the side the dressing has notaste. The ingredients are fresh however the foods made seem like done by a lazy person, just randomly put together. Haspotential to be better . The outdoor seating area itself is nice. Maybe the breakfast is better but the lunch was verydisappointing, and it?s not cheap to eat here either. Read more
The breakfast at this restaurant was amazing. The lox bagel and the Benedicts we're awesome (I had one with Mexican flavors and... it was spicy but good). We also had the monkey pancakes (pecans and banana) and this was one of the best pancakes we have everhad. If we ever return to this area, we will return this restaurant. Read more
Beautiful restaurant with beach view. Service was great. Had regular eggs Benedict which were good, that was paired with... potatoes. My significant other had French toast which he described as ?excellent?. The coffee was too sweet for my taste butover all it was a good experience. Read more
Great cafe. We went for Friday brunch around 11 am and there was about a 20-25 minute wait, which was pretty quick compared to... the other restaurants nearby. We were seated at a quiet patio table with a great ocean view. Service was excellent: friendly &prompt! We ordered the Cinnamon bun pancakes with sides of bacon and sausage. It was amazing and the pancakes were so fluffy???? I also tried the Guava Bellini which was delicious. I glanced at the other tables around us and their food looked fantasticas well. Best brunch I?ve had in a long time. Classic American dishes with a Mexican twist. Their list of Benedict?s is extensive. Bloody... Mary was strong and spicy, just the way I like it! We got the pancakes shown as a starter and they were DEVINE! Great place for breakfast/brunch with beautiful outdoor seating with view of the ocean. I've ran by this place 100 times and... enjoyed the scent of coffee and food which is so inviting. Finally sat down and had a meal and was not disappointed. Thecalamari steak and eggs was done the way I like it and my "dessert" of Brioche French toast was deliciously topped with freshstrawberries. The chai was soooo good (not sickeningly sweet like at other places) and the vanilla late was done well too. Myfriends enjoyed their steak and eggs as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were seated promptly and our drinksetc came in a timely manner even though the place was busy on a holiday Monday. Pet friendly patio for furry friends. Willdefinitely be back in the future. Walked up to wave street Cafe an was seated right away. The server Kayla was very nice! I asked her for her recommendation for... lunch an she recommendation the shrimp tacos an she even brought me a side of lime they were absolutely delicious!! The onionrings were cooked to perfection!
