My husband and I went around 1pm and it was pretty empty. Though it's known more for its nighttime scene, the staff was very... attentive, the food was fantastic and the view of the ocean was the cherry on top of a great experience. The food here is delicious. Order the Garlic Fries. We ate here twice while on vacation. 1st time was so good, we had to go... again. The 2nd time around was not as pleasant due to waiter being overwhelmed by his rushing and our asking for itemsrepeatedly. Not our job to have to keep asking for same thing. 5pm on a Friday, we went to a different popular restaurant first and it was going to be a 2hr wait, so we decided to keep... walking instead and happened upon Sly McFly's just a few doors down - we were seated right away! The waitress was very sweet andhelpful. The food was great. LOVED the chowder fries appetizer - such a fun local fare, and it felt like a 2 for 1 getting fries& soup. I truly could have just had that as my entree, but since I didn't know better, I ordered the beyond burger as well andit was super yummy! My husband had the fish & chips and said they were great, and my kiddo had the chicken strips and lovedthem. Well located in a popular tourist run. Server was polite and friendly. Big pet peeve of mine is a consistently empty glass.... Place was quiet and I and others in my party went dry (for a while) a few times. Food was large. I mean too large to handlewithout it falling to pieces and making a mess. I am no food expert, and I don't understand restaurants that choose this. Maybewhen I was 16 it was fun to try to tackle it. Not anymore. Food was also quite good. Lively. Mixed crowd of young and older. The wait staff was very attentive. Bathroom was clean. The band could be heard from the... sidewalk yet wasn't overpowering once inside. We went to watch a basketball game, and the server gladly changed the channel for us. Then I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, and my... husband had the Loaded Nachos. I am VERY picky about my Fettuccine Alfredo, but it was the best I've ever had!! The Nachos we'realso amazing and a meal in its self!! Our waiter was pretty awesome!! Very attentive!
