Vast outdoor area in front & back! Comfy couch-type chairs inside. Hefty pours for tastings with a lot of variety. Be careful of... the Prone (14.5% ABV); it?s definitely strong! The seltzers were 8% and pretty strong compared to other breweries too. Excellentservice. Great atmosphere. Live music on certain nights. Amazing food truck with the BEST fish tacos Read more

Amazing place. Incredible staff who want to make sure you try everything. Mark was exceptionally welcoming and I felt right at... home after visiting some mediocre touristy joints. The other ladies were very helpful too but I didn't meet them otherwise Iwould name them. I was getting regular samples from him without even asking. As a result I wanted to buy a few beers from thestore. Taco truck food is high quality. Better than a fancy touristy dinner I had and a fraction of the price. I love Montereyhistory and literature but the tourist quality can be hard. Thus, I highly recommend Dust Bowl if you want to come to Montereyand avoid tourist traps, find an authentic place with authentic people, chill out, have a good time and drink really good drink.Well done! Cute place. Big selection of beers. A bar soooo long you could use a bob sled or luge on it! We will go back again. They have... great outdoor seating and dog friendly. Read more

The patio environment was great. I was warm near the fire pits and the seats were comfortable. I had great food at the food... truck nearby and the beers were perfect. Monica helped us like a true pro and made sure we knew what we really wanted since wewere first time visitors. Read more

We had a great 2-mile walk from Roberts Beach in Seaside over to the Dust Bowl for beers and tacos! We got a seat right away... around 2pm on Sunday afternoon and the taster pours just hit the spot. And being outside, it was welcome to be able to have ourdog with us. Our server was super cheery, beers delicious, and the soy-rizo nachos just hit the spot! The fish taco wasperfect--freshly fried and still crisp. And the 2-mile stroll back to the car was easy-peasy with full bellies and happy smiles. Read more

Ride our bikes down the coast and stopped in, it is right between the road into Monterey and the bike trail. You can walk two... minutes from here to the pier. It is in the old train station, a cute location with lots of outdoor seating. High beerselection, but they do not serve food. There is a taco truck that is always there however, so you can get very good fish tacosthere, they also have a burger and chicken strips and fries. They also have loaded fries which are like nachos. Good locationand setting, but just surprised they do not serve food Read more

Loved the outdoor seating with heaters in place for the winter times. Not much food option. Just nachos and tacos. Olives and... jalapenos were missing. We got just chicken, sauce on nachos. We tried couple of beers. I would have loved to have flights, butit looked there was no option. Or at the least they should have had taster for free before we actually zero-in on any beer.Instead they had option for 1/4th glass (like a taster) for each beer or half and full glass beer. It was bit disappointing thatthere was so much variety of beers but no flight option. Read more
