We pulled in about 10pm and were able to order from the regular menu still! The service was wonderful! Old fashioned were on... point. The realization is this, you will never make everybody happy.If you are in a hurry and money is an issue this is not the place... to be.You need to understand the times we are in nowadays that patrons are greater than employees. I have red reviews onchildren not welcomed at the Supper Club and I have grandchildren that I love immensely but there are plenty of times that Iwould prefer to go out for a nice meal and not have to listen to children screaming. That does not mean that I do not lovechildren.. so our meal had taken awhile to get but we were not in a hurry.... Our waitress apologize and asking if we neededanything. Towards the end of our meal she had offered us an after dinner drink or dessert on the house..... My lobster and steakwas delicious. It was made perfect and the other guest I was with enjoyed their meals just as well. We don't mind spending alittle extra if the dinner is good. So to sum up my review, if you want to go out for an adult night with some friends gettingtogether and having good cocktails before dinner, great meal, beautiful atmosphere and relax this is your place.... Had the fish fry on Friday night shortly after opening and all I have to say is the garlic bread and the fries were great. I'd... have thrown the fish back. My wife had the spaghetti and was very underwhelmed. I guess in this area i didn't expect big cityquality but I did assume that they would outperform the bars next door. But I was wrong. Read more
Was a favorite growing up in the summers in Montello. Place turned into a real dump then was closed for almost 3-4 yrs. Now... reopened under new owners. Place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside. Super super nice bar. Food is available til late! Who wouldhave thought Montello has a place willing to serve after 9pm! Love it we will be regulars again! Read more
We were here in Montello for the weekend. Had a fantastic night/dinner out first night when we came. Got to chit chat with the... owners, they are very friendly and absolutley hilarious. Had a great time getting to know them. The second night was great, hada few drinks and made us feel very welcomed and had a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back here when in town. Absolutely excellent for a Friday baked Fish. The French fries are the best we ever had. Our waitress Lilly Mann was fantastic!
