Tortas Locas has couple of tables on the sidewalk which are perfect for warm summer nights. Mondays have quesadillas on special... and the carnitas is delicious, the el pastor is nicely seasoned. Delicious fresh and authentic. I highly recommend visiting Tortas Lokas in Upper Montclair's downtown. The guac and chips were... fresh, we enjoyed the tacos of chicken, steak and pork. A jaritos tamarindo flavored soda to top it off. Beautiful decor inside.And a pleasure for BYOB within dining with available outdoor seating. Read more
I?m a big burrito fan. Was excited to hear about this place on this side of Montclair. It didn?t disappoint. Everything was good... quality. The burritos are pretty large and come with a side. The tacos are a bit light but great. The chips are stellar. Theyprovide three sauces for the table as well. The burrito bowl was grand. And they actually use talk guac on all the food whereasa lot of places use some replacement. Even the chicken strips with fries were enjoyed. The prices are fair and they have variousdiscount days. Ordered here on Taco Tuesday for the first time. My husband and I ordered a variety of different types of tacos and guacamole on... the side for take out. Food was ready within 10min of placing my order. Pick up was super easy and everything was packed andready to go when I arrived. We thought the tacos and guacamole were delicious. Can?t beat the value for $1 tacos on TacoTuesday. Great value. We will definitely be back for more. Read more
I hate giving bad food reviews, but I felt I needed too. I ordered from here twice, first time was okay, so I figured I?d give... them another try. They never answer their phone on Tuesday (taco Tuesday) so don?t try to call. I was over charged for myfood, after asking the young man at the counter numerous times if it was correct. Went home realized they forgot my daughtersfries so had to walk back in the cold. Then started eating a pulled pork or chicken taco (which isn?t labeled so who knows whichit was), kept chewing and realized there was something hard, thought okay maybe it was a bone, but No? it was a bread tie, whichI was so disgusted by. I understand you?re busy, but really, so gross. Was so happy to finally have another Mexican place nearme, but not anymore. Read more
