The food was so incredibly good! The ribs were tasty and fell off the bone. Mac n cheese, coleslaw, fries, all exceptional.... Outdoor live music was a great touch. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we waited almost 2 HOURS for our food. They wereshort staffed and did not warn people of the wait. They seemed disorganized but were apologetic and did give my kids freecookies. Will try again in the future if I read from other reviews that staffing is back up to par. Read more

First time at Ruthie's but it definitely won't be our last. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Really enjoyed the... barbecue brisket sandwich and ribs. Fries were piping hot with the right amount of salt and the cole slaw complimented the meal.Baked beans were on point with pieces of burnt ends. The cashier/waitress suggested the hush puppies and I'm glad I took heradvice as these were the surprise of the meal. Good stuff? The food is awesome. The barbecue and the pizza are just great. The workers are friendly. I had an issue the last... time I ordered take out however. It was 45 minute wait and when I got there to pick up the food I was told at that point that 1of the things I ordered was out and to choose a different style. So I did that and got the platter but they sent me home withthis tiny little cup of pulled brisket, which was barely enough food for half of a person and charged 16.00 or so for theplatter. For someone who really doesn't treat themselves to go out to eat or get take out often this was pretty sad. Beyondthis the food? It is stellar. The fried okra and hush puppies are absolutely delicious as well. I had been wanting to go here for some time, and finally we made ourselves dedicate to trying it out. Got to say it's in very... nice little place, and a great atmosphere. It smells amazing in the place ('food'-amazing) Anyhow the pizzas that we orderedwere classic large size pies that I remember from growing up, and not the places trying to trick people into thinking they'regetting a large buy. This is actually one. And for some reason I felt I could just taste the good ingredients. I also tried themac and cheese and it was delicious. I review an awful lot of places, and I'm not too harsh, but I am fair, but they didn't evenneed me to think twice as we were happy with our experience thus far, and surely we'll go back to try other things on themenu. Service was great! Food was fresh and homemade. BBQ Sauce was delicious. I recommend the BBQ fries.
