There's a reason this place is rated so low. Stay away! Ordered spicy chicken sandwich and had nothing it was supposed to have... in it. Fries were sitting there for God knows how long and the girl who took my order couldn't stop talking to the otheremployees long enough to actually focus on taking my order. Place looks shut down and probably should be. Steer clear Read more

After seeing all the 1 star reviews, I Didn?t think it would be me. But to no surprised when I went to pick up my order there... was no cup in my combo. No biggie but instead of simply getting it, the young lady who handed me my order refused to give it tome and kept saying 3.19. She literally stared me down each time (3) I tried to ask for my cup. I kept trying to explain how it?sin the combo even after I told her to check the receipt. So rude, finally my friend spoke up and she gave it to us. Literallyjust such an off putting experience I thought she wanted to fight me over a cup in a combo Read more

Horrible customer service in a dilapidated building. Half of the restaurant is closed off and looks semi-abandoned. I placed a... mobile order and came to pick it up and it took them like another 15 mins to pack it despite barely anyone in line. There wasplenty of chicken on the racks so it wasn?t like they were still cooking it. I tried to politely ask about my order and just gota rude stare and a ?Yeah? from one of the cashiers. Got my food, left, and opened the bag to find a plastic fork that was stillin the wrapper but torn a bit and looked like it had been dragged around on a dirty floor or stepped on. Some of the workersthere seemed pretty rude while others just seemed really stressed out. Don?t know what the heck is going on at this place butI?m probably not going back. Read more

WORST POPEYES I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. The workers didn?t know what there were doing. There were 5 of them. The most recent lady who... came while I was waiting for 40 MINUTES for my food was the only one knowing what to do. She made everyone actually get to work. One guy was making food and the lady that came recently was the one making orders and doing register. No other workers werehelping. The food was not even that good and DEFINITELY not worth the wait. My mashed potatoes were cold and my spicy chickensandwhich did not taste right. My boyfriend ordered a 12 nuggets and only got 8. The place was also very trashy for a nice town.Food all over the tables and not cleaned up. Read more

I know what it?s like to manage a Resturant, and a high volume one at that, so I know what the difference between a ?Karen? and... blatant food safety violations. And what I saw made me so upset as a restaurant manager how BASIC food safety was simplyignored. Not only were no gloves used, but I witnessed employees using bare hands to grab chicken, and then grab shrimp (crosscontamination). Not only this, but the manager sat on the prep counter to take orders. (Food surface violation). They also had asanitizer bucket from 8/28 (today is 9/2) which means one of two things, the bucket was never changed or the bucket was neverwashed On top of this, when I voiced my concerned, nobody acted the least bit shocked. I know as a manager, that the secondsomeone pointed out a food safety violation, I would be on top of that because food safety should ALWAYS be the number onepriority. Absolutly shocked and disgusted by this. If it weren?t for someone I know ordering food there, i would?ve walked out.I pray someone sees this before someone gets sick or worse. Read more

Forget mobile orders. Twice I've done it in the app, with a pick up time. My order doesn't even get made until I step in and ask... about my order. So another 20 min every time. Might as well just walk in and order. Employees screaming at each other in frontof customers, arguing. Never again. Read more

I placed an online order directly through Popeye's website at 6:45 pm. The website said the soonest available pickup time was... 7:10 PM. Due to traffic I did not arrive at the store until 7:14 PM. Despite that, my food was not ready. I was told that myorder of spicy chicken tenders wasn't done yet. This leads me to wonder; what happens when an online order is made? If the orderis for an item that needs to be prepared, shouldn't the cooks, maybe, start preparing it? The cashier handed my my order (spicytenders meal & chicken nuggets) at 7:30 PM. It took 20 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready for me to get my food. And I think I got my order before another man and his son got theirs, and they were waiting for an online order that was 1number ahead of mine! I don't know what was going on with the Lackawanna store on Thursday night but their ability to handleorders in a timely fashion was AWFUL. I know Popeye's shouldn't really be considered fast food, more a fast casual place likeSmashburger, but taking 45 minutes from ordering to being handed your food is ridiculous. Read more

Frequent/loyal Popeyes customer here! This is without a doubt the worst Popeyes franchise I?ve ever been to. It is so... mis-managed, I don?t know how it?s still in business. As another reviewer wrote, there is a sign on the entrance with oldpost-pandemic hours which are inaccurate. It?s old and dilapidated in a strip-mall that is abandoned. They allow you to ordergreen beans on the app but the company no longer serves it because of Covid. The last time I went, they were out of cole slaw!Tonight, I was greeted by an excellent employee who actually started doing a Quality Check on my $60 order. She added a coupleextra sauces which would have made the order perfect. Instead, her supervisor reached into our bag and actually took the sauceout. Turns out, the manager ended up ruining the order. I had to bite my tongue and walk out. There is a much cleaner, moremodern, and better Popeyes a 5 min drive East on Bloomfield Ave in Bloomfield. That one may be more crowded but the quality isthere. Avoid this Popeyes at all costs. Even though it?s much closer to me, I?m never going back. Read more
