The owner is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I rushed in with a 17 month year old baby trying to grab lunch before... heading back to work and I left my mask. When I entered the store the owner started yelling don?t you see the sign on the door?I said I?m sorry I?m was rushing do you have one I can use? He said no go back to your car. I?ve worked in the Montclair areafor over three years and I will be sure to never recommend this place to anyone. There is a right and wrong way to treat andtalk to people!???????????????? Read more
A gem! Everything is fresh and homemade, always vegan and veg options, you can customize everything. Love their juices,... sandwiches, soups, and salads. Staff are friendly and have lots of regulars because they?re so great. Edited to add: Happy towear a mask at any time for others safety during a pandemic. I agree with these reviews. I wore a mask when I went in there and he was still rude. He is old school and not customer... friendly. He should stay in the back and let his workers run his business but you can tell he is the type that micromanages hisworkers and yells at them. I don?t know how you could work for him. High prices, terrible service, and an empty store; I don?tknow how he stays open. He must do well on ?to go? orders cause I will not return. Read more
I agree with a user ?blue soup?. No other place in that Watchung Avenue area in Monclair requires a mask? The minute I walked... in, the man said rudely, ?read the sign on door, wear a mask? even though the woman next to him smiled, did not have the maskover her nose, and seemed happy to serve me. Coincidentally, the pizza place, bagel place, sushi place , and two coffee placesboth had large crowds but this place was completely empty, (which is why I stopped in cause I?m on my lunch break and neededsomething quick). Hands down THE BEST Falafel I've had. I like the crunch on the outside and soft juicy moistness on the inside. Very well made.... Order was a breeze and no wait, everyone was so polite and friendly place was really clean. Definitely will be going back, the1hr 9m drove is definitely quiet it with the family. Read more
Green Chops has the best salads, soups and smoothies. Out of this world. I'm so glad I work nearby. I've been coming here weekly... for lunch for a year now. Their green squash soup and summer smoothie are out of this world you must try! The place is so cleanas well and the employees who are always there are very kind and always a pleasure to see.
