I made reservations for my partner and I for his father's day lunch. Very nice views on the roof, but what was really nice was... our waiter name Steve he made sure we were well taken care of with food, drinks and just paying attention to details. We had such a great time here. The chef is fantastic , food was much better than expected and the drinks were delicious and not... bad on pricing. The atmosphere is wonderful , great vibe , great energy with amazing city views. Everyone was nice , pleasant -fun to be around - this will be a place we frequent. Read more
Loved the DJ and ambiance both indoor and out! Great views, outdoor fire tables available. Facility & bathroom was clean.... Servers and waitresses very friendly and accommodating. Downside is their small menu & slow service. Seems like they need morestaff. It took a long time to bring hummus out, it came out like 15-20 mins after everything else. Spritzer drink wasn?t thatgood, it gave beer vibes. Minor setbacks, because I would definitely return. Just eat before you go if you?re looking for bigmeals. Always a great time at Alto rooftop. The view never gets old. Great drinks and amazing service! Sat out in the terrace, chilly... night but the heaters were on. Our waitress Lauren was incredible. Location is everything. Fantastic views of Montclair and the Watchung Mountains. Otherwise a somewhat overpriced and mediocre... experience. The food was good, but my friend was under impressed by the $15 sliders that added up to barely a snack. I?m used tohigh-priced food in Manhattan, and agree we should have received a bit more for our money. Cocktails were good, service wasfine. The view was pretty awesome, though. Read more
Very nice rooftop! We wanted to sit outside and see the sunset hitting NY city skyscrapers. It got cold and we asked if they... could turn on the heaters, and the answer was at 6:30pm. Some other people seating at their proper spots turned the heaters inand they got in trouble. That was the only downside for me, but hey?they offered blankets.
