Tired after spending time out, and this was the only place open to deliver so we just said screw it. It was totally delicious!... The burger was a normal very good fast food burger, but the jalapeño poppers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and chickentenders are where it?s at! Ice cream is good but nothing special. The people who work there are miserable. Last year the woman got my order wrong and then... wanted me to pay for the wrong items claiming it was my fault and I ended up walking out with no ice cream. This year we decidedto give it another shot and I was fortunate to get what appeared to be the only pleasant person there. A girl with glasses and abright pink bob. Not only was she nice when taking my order but she helped carry my order outside to my family and when my 4year old's ice cream cup slid off the crooked table on to the ground she replaced it with no problem. I did however have anotheremployee look extremely annoyed with the customer ahead of me for questioning the cash only policy. She looked over at me andmuttered something that I didn't hear. Quaint little family resturant in the heart of Montauk. Everything is ordered separately there are no meals. Tasted the fish,... burgers and chicken. All were really good, and of course you can't leave without ordering some of their homemade ice cream totake home. Read more
You?ll be in awe at how many people can work in a place without any orders making it out. Consistently been waiting 30-40... minutes on very easy orders and with barely any people In line. Not sure what?s going on but if you can?t resist the urge andmust have John?s, order online 1 hr in advance and you might find your food waiting for you. Best homemade ice cream around!!!!! Flavors are very unique and you also have the basic flavors but they increase in depth of... flavor!! Toasted coconut is very good also coffee health bar crunch OMG!! If you like black cherry you will love theirs..Thenthey have a Mint Oreo ice cream full of oreos!! Plus, They have food there too!! Very good food!! We go there every time we cometo Montauk...Staff very knowledgeable and very fast...But remember come with Cash!! They don't take credit cards but there is anATM machine there..
