DO NOT recommend this place. We came in and sat down. After fifteen minutes we were not acknowledged. Another customer came in... and sat at the table next to us. They were waited on immediately. Do NOT trust the prices or waiters at this restaurant. They overcharged us by $5 and we didn?t discover it until we got home.... The menu prices do NOT reflect what they are actually charging! Went back up there and the explanation was ?oh, we went up onour prices and your waiter must not have told you?. The menus in the store AND online still reflect lower prices than what theyare going to charge you! Waiter also failed to tell us the sides were extra and not included. Told us we could pick any twosides as part of the meal. So double-whammy. We will NEVER eat there again. Read more
This 5 star rating is only due to the customer service we received from Jenna. We just moved to the area and had heard good... things about this restaurant from coworkers. Jenna was left by herself after the owners daughter (manager) and other coworkerwalked out. She could have turned us away being there all alone but instead let us stay and still gave us amazing service. Foodwas good and we would gladly come back if Jenna is still there. Read more
Had dinner there for the first time, pretty good experience. Place was clean, servers were polite and attentive. Got the... appetizer comb, boudin balls, fried mushrooms, cheese sticks, and bacon wrapped shrimp dinner. No complaints, bacon was crispybut not burned, boudin balls were a little mushy for my taste, but good flavor. Reasonable price for a decent amount of food.Just don't understand why restaurants that serve "Cajun" food around here have never heard of remoulade sauce! Read more
Won't be going back. Customer for when they first started. Yesterday I got 1p catfish and 6 oysters. Oysters where about the... size of my tip of pinky finger they where all batter. They fail to bring the salad before the meal, and when the meal camedidn't bring gravy for rice, didn't get it until after I ate the fish and oyster crumbs. The waiter's at time 3:30 is justback behind the counter just talking to each other and owners daughter. There was only 1 couple there and they all ready hadtheir food. Tickets came they charge me for the rice and gravy even though the waiter said it could be substituted, then argueand lied in front of the owners daughter. And charged my sister double. And this not the first time we been over charged. Sowatch your ticket. They give you a little bitty salad or coleslaw always. And they won't compensate you in any way for theirwrong doings or how the waiter treats you. Rice and gravy is a whole lot cheaper than fries to make and its already made. We were traveling to San Antonio from Georgia and were looking for a place to eat. I just happened to see a billboard on I-10.... It looked interesting. So, we stopped. We were So glad we did! It was absolutely amazing! The waitress was so friendly and thewhole experience was great. We both ordered the grilled red snapper dinner. It was so good and fresh and the Boudin ballsappetizer was incredible! Read more
Placed a large order, paid almost 60 dollars. I thought the prices were fair. Went thru drive thru picked up food and a tea. The... place was dead on a Saturday around dinner time. That should of been my first warning sign. Started drinking the tea on the wayhome and it was literally water. That was my second warning. Then got home, had a fried shrimp and fish combo and my fiancé hada Shrimp Alfredo, also bought a large gumbo. OMG the gumbo was like the tea watered down with just large chunks of vegetablesand some sort of seafood. The shrimp both in the alfredo and fried was RANK AND HAD TURNED. We both through away our food. Icalled and explained that the shrimp was bad and was told I could drive all the way back from Baytown to get a replacement.Which was no remedy to the issue. The customer service was good. Very friendly. But the rest was terrible. Will not go back. Read more
We are new to the area but we have been to this restaurantat least 6 times already...food is always great ang cooked... fresh....service is good AND they do Military discount...great neighborhood restaurant!!! Read more
