Reviews for SoCal Kitchen in Mont-Tremblant, QC
We ate here the long weekend of July/August 2022. This was our best meal while in Mont Tremblant. The restaurant was open very... reduced hours 3-8:30. We met everyone dinning around us who all wanted to share their impressions of the restaurant. Couplebeside us were from Nova Scotia and said that all the seafood was amazing. Soooooo. I had the lobster roll. Let me qualifythis by saying I send weeks in Maine every year. This was the best lobster Roll of my life. Wife had the SoCal bowl and licheemartini and insists this was the best meal of her life We will always be back. In fact we may drive from Ottawa just to gohere. Read more
We actually stopped at this place on a whim after the first option we wanted failed because of terrible loud atmosphere. This... one was nice and quiet, we were seated pretty fast outside under shade on a hot day. Cocktails were very good and refreshingand even though I'm not a fan of lobster roll, this one exceeded my expectations, especially the addition of mango which justbrings out the flavour of the lobster. The employees were kind and helpful. Prices were actually decent compared to otherplaces, it is obviously in the village, but it closely matches the prices of food and cocktails I had in both Montreal andHalifax (NS). Read more
Good food and very attentive staff. Everyone who works here smiles, and it shows they care. Although pricey, the service makes... up for it, and I would return. Tips are justified and well deserved here. Read more
The food was only ok and was very overpriced. I paid 37 dollars for some fries and a lobster sandwich (picture bellow) One small... Cocktail is 15 dollars!. On the other hand, The staff was very friendly and attentive. Sadly i will not go back. Read more
A great place to soak up the sun on the terrace and have some good fare in Mont-Tremblant village. Rather than the typical pub... food, you will be able to choose from a variety of seafood and well seasoned dishes. We had the lobster roll which was verygood as well as the braised short rib burger which was very well done. Their margarita was also tasty and a very prettyturquoise! Read more
It was pretty good. Unfortunately it took a long time to be seated even though there were many tables available. It was also... pretty pricey, but so is everything in the village. The short rib burger was delicious but definitely heavy. I suggest youshare. Nachos were pretty good although some chips were a little burnt. I had a mushroom pasta that was great but I onlyrecommend it if you like simple and healthy tasting food. Read more
My friend and I both got the 3 tacos dish, but I got one of each flavour. I'd recommend skipping the tofu taco because it was... completely bland and they didn't have to pretend the tofu was "meat" to cater to non-vegetarian customers. The cod taco was notwhat I expected (shredded cod as opposed to one large fried piece) but still tasty. The pulled pork taco was not bad, but maybebecause by the time I ate it, it was getting cold. My friend said it was her favourite, though. The sweet potato fries wereAMAZING and I enjoyed the salad dressing for the salad. I say it's worth it to upgrade from the original 2 tacos to 3 tacossince you get all the fries. Read more
Located just on the hill, the food is overpriced for what it is. The previous reviews mentioned slow service and they?re all... true. You don?t seem like a priority and you have numerous waiters throughout which is quite confusing. Wouldn?t go here again. If you?re in a rush for a quick bite and drink don?t come here. Had to ask for the bill twice and it took 15 minutes. Read more
