Server was pleasant, place was clean, plenty of parking, visited at 4:00 on a Sunday. Wife had a beyond burger with chips and... pink lemonade, enjoyed the meal. I had the Angus supreme Burger with fries and a shake. Shake is extremely small and watery. TheAngus burger meet itself was good, but the bun it came on was horrible. Came here for a late night snack since it was right next to our hotel. This was our first time at an Eat?n Park, so we weren?t... sure what to expect. Over all, both the food and service were great. The menu prices are also very reasonable. We ordered theCountry Fried Steak, Potato Soup, and Strawberry Pie. Every tasted great. The fried steak was tender and flavorful. The soup washearty and had the perfect amount of salt. Our server was super friendly and checked on us throughout the meal. Quite a friendly American family diner. I wanted to eat soup and sale bar but they only offer salad bar after 3pm on Sundays. I... had a cod sandwich with tartar sauce and one side. Fish was quite crispy and filling. But I guess this diner may be short ofstaff. We were seated (2:20pm ) and waited for a server for over 15 minutes. Read more
Very small salad bar. Less verity. Only 2 types of soups and chicken soup was really salty. Mushy looking fruit. Pasta salad was... tasteless. Could not find anything to go for a second plate! But it was $11.99/person! Regretted the $30 we spent here today!Will never go back. Sorry! Read more
This location falls between a 3 and a 4. Advice when ordering whale of a cod, people. This is what was given to my family for... dinner tonight. It looks like the buns were smashed by a pin roller. There?s no way a bread company makes bread like this unlessit?s pita or something. They were almost totally flat. When we told the server, she said her manager said that the distributorsent those instead of the normal buns. Could even give us a heads up or a burger bun? Really? How can you bring yourself toserve this pitiful mess. ???? The server even said she thought they looked weird when taken out of the window, yet she didn?tpoint it out or give us the option of a burger bun, which would make total sense. Plastic in my chicken bruschetta!! I was only a few bites in and saw something that shouldn?t be there. I pulled a little and... this piece of plastic came out. Appetite ruined :-/ Even the employee at the pick up window wasn?t very nice. She closed windowin my face before I could hand her a cash tip. Grabbed the five and closed window just as quickly after getting it. I?m assumingI got treated the way I did at first because they thought I wasn?t tipping but we shouldn?t assume. As someone who grew up in Pittsburgh, I always went to Eat 'N Park. Today ended that for good. I ordered a Beyond Burger (and... other food) to go. Got home to find it so burned it was inedible. My mom also got a BB - also burned. I called and was told theywould replace both. This time the BBs weren't even cooked. Absolutely disgusting. I also asked for pickles and got one lone tinypickle. Rip-off. Pathetic. Recent visits have been pretty bad, but this just did it. I have no interest in returning. Once upona time, Eat 'N Park was a great place for a meal. Those days are long gone. It was very good meal that I had, my wife and I had not been out since covi/c hit. The whole experience was surprisingly very... good. Our service was excellent and the food was great. I will be doing the whole thing again soon. We always had a goodexperience with the Eat'n Park restaurants all around the city. Read more
