Top notch homemade traditional Greek meals. Sit down for a great meal with quiet atmosphere or order take-out for lunch. Bring... it home or to the park. Stays hot n fresh ingredients used. I eat with my eyes ???? first then my nose. Beautiful lookingplatters, the smell makes it hard to wait to get to your destination to eat it. Stopped here on a road trip, and it was excellent. Great service, was able to sit out on the patio area and enjoy the nice day,... and the food was great. We got the eggplant herb spread appetizer, falafel gyro and the gyro Greek salad with lamb. The eggplantwas delicious, the falafel was so tasty and crispy, the pita was fluffy and perfectly toasted, and the lamb was tender andflavorful. Love that they put fresh dill and capers on the salad! Delicious and great variety of authentic Greek food. It's a BYOB, so bring a nice bottle of wine. Greek wine is amazing if you... can find a bottle. Quaint little place, so make sure to get there early or make reservations. Amazing dips, I'm especially a fanof the tzatziki and taramasalata. Gyro platter and the lamb shank fricassee are great too. Small, clean, modern, new place with an average 10 minute wait. I regularly eat at stamatis in Astoria, NY which is as... legendary Greek restaurant- Faros is even better, all fresh, very excellent food. Only downside: a disorganized, overworkedolder waitress. Read more
I?m not lying when I said that was one of the best meals I?ve ever had in my life. It was so good I might need to move to New... Jersey. The meat was melt in your mouth tender, lemon potatoes were delicious, everything was super flavorful. Very authentic.They don?t make ?em like that anymore. Highly recommend! Read more
