Food and service were great. Family had country style steak, cheeseburger, and Philly cheese steak.
Visited this local spot for breakfast. We ordered the fried chicken with gravy and biscuits as well as pancakes with cinnamon... cream cheese icing. The chicken was excellent and added balance to the more bland gravy and biscuits. The pancakes were alsogood, I would have preferred a drizzle of the icing instead of the drenched presentation or to just apply it myself. No knock onflavors, but a bit better presentation. ???? The Salmon was actually delicious, I'll start there. It was suppose to be blackened but lacked blackening season but was... still good. ?The rice was luke warm, ?the onion rings were cold, ?the broccoli casserole was decent. However, verydisappointed in the cornbread! It was very cold and extremely dry with no taste, it was not sweet at all. Also, it had a rubberytexture as if it was old or rewarmed in a microwave. ???? This place was nice and has plenty of room. There servers were kind and helpful, ours was Monica and she was knowledgeable... about the menu and patient...it was our first time in there. The double cheeseburger, added bacon for a dollar, was reallygood... On par for this type of restaurant but a little more food. I was satisfied. My wife had the beef tips ...I tested themand they were ????????. That's what I plan to get when we go back. The reason for the 4 stars is only because they had half therestaurant closed down and were putting the chairs up on the tables to mop... That was a bit strange considering they close at9pm and we walked out the door at 8:38pm... Read more
Had the corn beef hash. With grits. It was delicious. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
