Being from Brooklyn, we know pizza! And we have had a hard time finding a place that is as close as possible to Brooklyn or just... great NY pizza in general. Now just to be fair, we have not tried their plain slice as of yet. We have only ordered theirSicilian pizza twice so far. I am pleased with what we had tasted, both times. They also season their dough with garlic, verynice touch. I'd have to say, based on their Sicilian slices, they are comparable to great Sicilians in the city. Their crust isa bit on the thicker side but has a good amount of sauce and cheese to balance it out. Also, even tough its thicker, they cookit properly so you have the crunch on the outside and softer but not super soft inside. Happy about the cheese (good qualityused) and the sauce seasoning as well. Happy that this place isn't far from us and will try their other pizzas soon. Hopefullythose are just as good. Read more
At 9:15 pm (45 minutes before closing) we ordered a large pie with ricotta as a topping. We received an old, unused slice pie... with ricotta on it not even heated up. Nice try guys but you ain't no pizza joint. Read more
Haven?t been there in about 3 years have been back to NY at the least once a year family still lives in NY took a job in SW... My husband and I are native New Yorkers and are no strangers to a NY pizza joint. We just moved up here and haven't had much... luck with finding descent pizza until now! I chose to go here because of the menu. It looked like the closest style menu that Icould find to Long Island. Mostly Italian American options, lots of classic dishes, and not to much messing about with foodchoices that simply don't belong at a NY pizza place. The regular slice was perfect....exactly what you want in a NY slice. Verythin, but holds together. Not too much sauce. A slight char on the bottom crust. It came to the table piping hot which wasgreat! I ordered the eggplant parm hero and it was exactly how I love it.. Very thinly sliced eggplant, not breaded....justflour, egg, and fry. This is perfect b/c without breadcrumbs, it doesn't become a soggy mess. Perfect amount of sauce andcheese. Perfect amount of filling compared with the hero. Now I feel confident ordering more dishes next time. We sat in thedining area and I noticed how clean and orderly everything looked. I can't wait to come back! Read more
Update 7/2/2022: Went here yesterday 7/1/2022 to eat something while my family and i were waiting for the fireworks in town. We... placed our order over the phone, and walked to pick it up. We ordered as follows: a tuna salad wrap, a sandwich, and anothersandwich. It took about 35 minutes to make our order, but that is reasonable because when we got there to pick it up, the placewas super busy. i enjoyed my tuna wrap that i ordered, and my family enjoyed what they ordered. will be back soon! I've beengoing to planet pizza since middle school. Their pizza is amazing, and their wraps are as well! Also their dinners are alsogood. Even if you dine in the food is good. Went here recently for the fireworks and got a pepperoni pizza, which was delcious!Their loaded fries are also good. I will be back to support this local business! Read more
