This was the first time I'd been here. The waiters were very nice and attentive. I did have a couple issues and one was resolved... quickly. There was a problem with my order and maybe the next visit will be great! The rest of my family enjoyed their meal. Imust admit the mimosa was great. I will be back to try them again, and hopefully give a 5 star review. Just know they want tomake your dining experience nothing less than perfect. Read more

Started out upstairs at Planters for a sunny view of the river and appetizers. After taking that in, we moved downstairs to... Restaurant Cotton. We were seated immediately, may I add without a reservation. We enjoyed the biscuits with cane syrupbutter….amazing. Our entree of Filet was cooked to perfection and delicious to the tongue. This restaurant is totally amazing I’ve been traveling across the country by car trying a lot of different restaurants. This... one is definitely one of the best by far. I had the fried chicken cream corn biscuits and mashed potatoes. Definitely some ofthe best I’ve ever had. The fried chicken is really light. The chicken is not greasy at all. The ambience in the restaurantis wonderful. The surroundings are very peaceful and the waitress Jessica was awesome. I just can’t say enough about howgreat the experience was. I will be back!! The food was amazing but the wait was horrible. We sat down at 12:15, ordered 12:30ish and did not get our food until 1:55. It... took another 5 minutes to get sauces that were missing from plates. While we were a party of 13, the restaurant cleared aroundus while we waited as people who came in after us got their food before us. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic, but thefood was not worth the wait. (Apparently, there was a party of 25 right ahead of us.) Read more
Very nice place to enjoy dinner and drinks. Eli's bar (upstairs) was a great place to lounge and have a "unique" cocktail ... before dinner. The food , service and cocktails were fantastic. We Will go again!! August , our server was very attentive andknowledgable of the menu. Read more
This place has the best of two worlds. Southern Style meets Gourmet. You place this restaurant in San Francisco, Atlanta, or... New York and it will compete with any high-end place. Loved it. I travel for work. This week I was in Manhattan, Newark,Atlanta and ended in Monroe. This was the BEST meal I had the entire week and I paid only $42 for everything!!! I recommend thefried chicken. They call it the Bus Station Chicken. It was crispy on the outside yet tender inside. Loved it. Very niceflavor. The creamed corn that comes with it was delicious. It was Gourmet flavored and it has a nice texture to it. Isubstituted the mashed potatoes for Duck fries; just to try them. They were very nice. I know the name is interesting so don'tlet that discourage you. They fry the french fries in duck fat. They were very nice and crispy. Overall, the Wedge salad wasmy favorite!
