We tried it on a whim. Disposable menus, limited selection. Our well meaning wait person had never tried the crab cakes and... shrimp but I ordered them anyway. They were fried but were covered in Alfredo sauce! Tasty but nothing special. The "gulfshrimp" on the meal were tiny popcorn shrimp. A few, certainly less than a dozen. (See pictures of meal) She had the crawfishravioli and enjoyed it. She also ordered a glass of prosecco wine. Eventually it came well after her meal. 4 oz for $12! Thisplace has no beer on tap???? Bottle beer is limited to watery yellow beers. No Bock, stout, or other dark beers. Buying anentree does not get you a soup, salad, or any type of side dish. Chintzy???? Read more

Stood at the front and watched the hostess walk around looking for a table for 30 min meanwhile about 7 other parties walked in.... She was obviously sick or tired. Got seated and ordered our food. They brought out the plastic utensil condiment pack. Ispend 18.00 on a plate to eat with a plastic fork. Used to be a pretty good place. Even the menus are terrible. They are justa piece of paper not like the ones previously. Copeland has definitely taken a severe turn for the worse. Our waiter was good! Read more

I was passing through Louisiana and I decided I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich for lunch and the Google recommended Copeland's.... Everyone was dressed in black and white, with long black aprons, and masked up. The place looked very fancy and I was worriedabout being under dressed so I sat in the bar and watched sports news on the TV. I decided to have the Jazzy Wings appetizerwhich was oily but delicious, it came with ranch & celery sticks. I could have and should have made that my whole meal. Thechicken sandwich came on a croissant lightly breaded and fried with a few tomato slices, spicy mayo, a dab of coleslaw. Longstory short it is a messy sandwich and you are going to have to wash your hands after, but it was good. Read more

Service was a tad slow, but not so much to keep me from returning. Highly recommend the Crawfish bread appetizer. It's generous... enough to be a meal for one. I don't recommend the crab & shrimp alfredo. It was disappointing compared to the crawfish bread. Bloody Mary was delicious & not too strong. Read more

Our server Kevin was very helpful and asked the cook to fry my crab cakes crunchy, which added great texture to it being over... pasta instead of being soggy. Read more

It's been ages since we last visited Copeland's. They had a location in Dallas which closed sometime in early 2000's. The menus... has changed however, the food is still tasty, drinks were good and the service was excellent. It was good to taste the old cajunflavors ????. The spicy blue crab claw was really good.. We could not try the desserts which they are famous for, hope to try itnext time we are on I-20 in Monroe. Read more
