Little bit of Portugal in New York???? It's beautiful place with lot of homemade products, honey, spicy Portuguese sauce... Big... up for lot of gluten free option. Had the Pataca avocado toast for lunch today! Tuna from the Azores served on an abundant layer of beautifully arranged ripe... avocado, topped with mildly spicy red peppers and sprouts all resting on house baked multi-grain toast. At first glance itappeared to be open-faced, but to my delight there was a second piece of toast under the top layer so I made a sandwich! I lovesandwiches, and this one did not disappoint. Loved the tuna melt (with jalapeños and ricotta, what an interesting combination), the grilled Brie cheese with peaches... sandwich? and the almond flour cake. Wasn?t a big fan of the veggie-bean burger (a bit dry, until we asked for more mayo and thestaff kindly gave it to us) nor the peanut butter brownie? but still worthy of 5 stars for the overall experience and kindnessof staff. Hands down my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. So many options for vegan, gluten free, and really great meat dishes,... something for everyone / every mood. The drinks and lattes are amazing.
