We picked up catered food for our rather large Thanksgiving gathering. Best decision EVER. Saved us loads of time by not having... to cook and the food was amazing!! This will be our go to for holiday meals for now on. Read more

The older and more mature waitresses and staff were very nice. Some of the younger staff weren?t friendly. The food was boring.... The soup tasted like it was Campbells or progresso. The veal and chicken Marsala were very boring. I wish the best for thisrestaurant and hope that they can improve their meals. Unfortunately I have no desire to return because I like to eat food thattastes good. There are way better options. Maybe the good reviews are because of their pizza which is okay from what I remember. Read more

Dropped in for a nice lunch with family on Saturday afternoon. Food was great, service was very attentive. I enjoyed a juicy... burger and some delicious garlic knots. My wife said the pasta fagiul was almost as good as her own at home. That's good... Mydaughter enjoyed some tasty salmon and my son had crispy chicken tenders. Sister in-law and Nana with a nice pizza. Good showingJennie's! Read more

A modern look to an old standard. Originally one of the best, thin crust pizza joints in Bridgeport, Jennie has moved several... times and now is on 111 in Monroe. They have maintained a solid quality product in a new setting. the seating is not as cozyas the old sit down restaurant but service is good and attentive. They still make a good pie using the thick and tasty sauce. the menu items are varied and has something everyone can enjoy. Read more

I was lucky enough to host my daughter's bridal shower for 35 people last Saturday at Jennie's in their beautiful new Wine Room.... I cannot say enough about about the absolutely delicious food and exceptional service! From the beautiful Charcuterie board, right down to the AMAZING cocktails. I consider myself a tough customer, and am not easily impressed, but I can honestly say Iwould not have changed a thing. They made my daughter feel like a queen and our guests are still raving about the event! Thankyou Richard and your amazing staff for making my daughter's day so special. We will definitely be seeing you again soon. Soooooo worth the drive from Milford! Thanks again! Tracy Read more

Waited an hour and a half and food was impressively bad. The waiter was aggressive when we told him how long we had been waiting... and told us he wanted us to get our food and go so another table could come and he could make more money. We were really niceabout it but he got very defensive and did not apologize I til the very end in a half hearted way. It was a bizarre experience. No one offered us bread, a drink on the house or anything- truly strange. I only had two bites because it was Inedible and henever asked about it or anything. Manager never came by to apologize for the wait. My family was shocked because I will eatanything and am a member of the clean plate club. Read more

I chose to go back to Jennie?s after a family party to try different dishes. After trying squash blossoms, pasta, soup, clams my... highlight was the artichoke francese. They served it to me burnt not edible. Mentioned it to waitress. She said she would tellthem. They had nerve to charge me $12 after I didn?t eat them. Won?t be seeing me ever again. Gave waitress 30% tip. She was asweetheart. Read more
