I'm all about supporting local business. This place looks to have a lot of take out orders. Staff are super friendly, but the... food is sub par. The salad was frozen and the dressing was watered down. The miso soup had a fishy smell and taste. Theginger tasted defrosted and old. The chicken teriyaki was not grilled but boiled then microwaved. Went in for dinner on a Friday night at about 6-630. Wasn't too busy. We were sat in a private booth. It was clean and cozy and... even had a curtain! The server was incredibly helpful and went through almost the whole menu with us. He was patient andwell-versed in all the rolls. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, sexy roll, melted Philly roll, Ironman roll, and futo Maki roll.Dinner partner had the upside-down pineapple mixed drink and said it was great. The rolls were amazing. I couldn't choose afavorite, but my partner said the melted Philly was his favorite. The sexy roll had the perfect amount of heat/spice with thejalapeno. It was so good. It was such a fun experience! Watching the chef in the Hibachi room was amazing and the food was to the for (we were all... salivating while he was cooking). They were so nice once they found out it was my mom's birthday and brought out a birthday hatand ice cream for her. Will go again! Read more
Save your hard earned money. Restaurant is a mess with cardboard boxes and filthy carpeting and in need of serious renovations... and due for a health inspection. Hibachi dinner was way overpriced, considering the lack of protein included in the meal choice(filet mignon/scallops) and the vegetables were obviously from a freezer bag. The entrée was smothered in a dark sauce and thesalad included iceberg lettuce drenched in orange dressing, noodles were drowning in a sweet, brown sauce and the soup wasuneventful broth with 2 slivers of mushrooms on top. Each of our hibachi dinners were 35.00 and we left hungry. Read more
