I wanted to take my wife out mid week to relax. So the weather was perfect and I wanted to come see what the new Chef was doing.... An excellent menu and variety! The specials were all spot on and unique. We tried both soups of the night and could of ordermore! Very good!! Pumpkin spice soup, and a pulled pork southwest soup. We both loved each.Then a well prepared and fresh 1/2dozen oysters in the half shell. ???? Next up was a Margherita Flatbread, that was just the right size for an appetizer. We hadthe Goat Cheese Bruschetta. Smooth and creamy, on a perfect bread. I opted for the wine flight ( whites), each was good and anice pour for their special only $12.00. My wife went with a Espresso Chocolate martini, yum! I ordered a very smooth sweet redwine, and her a coffee to sit outside near the fire. Perfect! Mary our waitress was very helpful, friendly and very attentive.We are looking forward to our next time! So many things on the menu for both food selections and drinks. My first time here celebrating my friends birthday. Love the ambiance and mixed cocktails however, the food was undesirable?... both she and I had different meals and they were both terrible. Also a bug ended up in one of my drinks and the waitress wasvery non-chalant like bugs in drinks were normal. The chef was rude and kept saying he couldn?t ?comp? a meal when it was neverbrought up by either of us. Read more
Decent place, a little on the small side so you feel a little cramped. Took a bit for the bar tender to come around and take... our order, even longer when a regular came in and they would stop and chat a little longer. Food was decent, drinks were OK.Very pricey. They also charge you extra to use a debit/credit card. Not a place I would make a habit going to. Read more
Second time here. Both times the food has been fantastic. Drinks are great to. It was nice to have a good attentive server, ... because the first time, the girl was very rude. So thankfully that was nice. I would recommend. Read more
Went for the first time with two friends last night and sorry I've waited so long. Our food was fantastic and Paul has done a... great job with what was an eyesore of a building. I look forward to trying more food and sitting outside in the summer! Read more
Bottomless mimosas aren?t bottomless. It?s one cup of champagne, three cups of juice and one cup of water. The food is mediocre.... The waitress wasn?t ready for a full house, she would roll her eyes at us when we asked for things. They didn?t want to provideus a bucket of ice because they only have buckets on Thursdays; even if we bought the beers individually. We were told that theydidn?t have a lot of the things in the menu because the boss had a party with his friends the night before. Knowing we hadreservations weeks prior, they should have been more prepared. We still had a great time, because we were with family. Otherthan that, I?d go to Brians across the street. Read more
Nice place and different than anything else in south suburbs. Large wine selection and craft beers. Nice bar with craft drinks... on recommendation. Food is ever growing on the menu. Cheese and meat charcuterie board is what we had with some flatbreadappetizers. Brie and apple bruschetta to finish off a lunch for four. The place is small but seating is cramped.
