Amazing BBQ! We are picky when it comes to BBQ (I love Tennessee?s and my husband loves Alabama?s) but this spot impressed us... both! Truly amazing experience and our tastebuds were in heaven! The fried pickles were delicious, family platter was stellarand stuffed our family of five, and we enjoyed the Banana Cream Pudding for dessert. The decor is adorable inside, too. Highlyrecommend! The ribs was awesome thick and very flavorful, the pulled pork was very delicious too and very good portions. Would definitely... recommend to anyone who like a taste of real country soul food. Would make a great getaway from the usual hum drum restaurantfeel, and the waitress was very attentive to our needs!!!!! Read more
To me just ok. Not much smoke flavor at all. Pulled chicken was definitely the best followed by pulled pork, brisket and sausage... last. Usually smoked meats like sausage will take on a red hue as well as the brisket with smoke ring. Can't say for sure butseems most everything was oven baked?? The food here tastes great and comes in large portions. The restaurant is clean and the staff is super friendly. On this visit,... we ordered take out and some of our order was missing, but that does not usually happen. We would eat here again in the futureand definitely recommend Live Oak Smokehouse to others. The sampler platter have Sausage, Ribs, Wings and pork. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. The meat on the ribs were very... tender, falling off the bones! Collard greens and Mac & Cheese were delicious and paired nicely with the smoked meat! Thedesserts, were decadent! Christy & Lauren were great waitresses! Would def eat here again! Read more
Amazing service- Lauren was so much fun... the owner made me 2 drinks that made my day!! & the chef was so humble and creative... and was nice enough to speak with us too... hands down the best experience we have had in a while! My husband and I have been looking forward to trying out the Smokehouse, and it didn't disappoint!! I think we can all agree... that finding good people and a good atmosphere is a little stressful these days ,but considering all the people that were diningin and ordering takeout the wonderful souls at Live Oak Smokehouse did an amazing job!!!! We sat at the bar and were served bythe wonderful Lauren and got to chat with Georgia as well who is also just as wonderful we felt like family. This is a really good smokehouse restaurant. Homemade, legit. Friendly staff and welcoming. Service was great. Good drinks,... food, and dessert. Good pricing, more than enough serving size. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend. I will be returningsoon again. Read more
