Only subway I know that will ask you the option to leave a tip. And in case you missed it, the cashier will definitely let you... know, even though they already get paid min wage, they are not making waiter salary so should not prompt a tip. Subway at Walmart in Moline, IL. A friend went in to get some food, he said the subway employee was training someone. Turned... around told him just a minute turned back around and continue explaining to the person she was training. And he walk out and shesaid oh yoir leaving. Was shopping in Wal-Mart today, saw that Subway was open and thought I would take subs home for dinner. A young man with dark... hair and a beard was making a sub for a customer. No beard net for that beard but more importantly he was not wearing a maskwhich I am pretty darn sure he is suppose to be per the governor's orders. As if that isn't bad enough he went and checked thiscustomer out with the same gloves on that he just made her sandwich with. I set down by myself, didn't order anything, for the whole about 20min I was the he (the owner) had 2 customers, so the entire... Subway was empty. He then (politely) asked me to leave if I don't order anything. I asked him why do I have to leave, who do Ibother ?! He kept mentioning he's the owner, and he wants me to leave. I love this subway; I eat here all the time. The owner Ho Kim is super nice as well as all his employees. He owns this one along... with the one across the street next to Osaka Buffet. They remember my name as well as what I usually order and that makes mefeel good. I highly recommend! Read more
