Wish I could review the food. Never got it, couldn't make it thru the ordering process. Ordered pork fried rice. Tried to order... vegetable egg foo Young. Turns out those two items are not compatible. You must be a vegetarian to get vegetable egg foo young.Therefore you cannot have pork fried rice. Trying to get sweet and sour chicken blew the whole thing up and I realized there wasgoing to be zero chance of me getting anything I wanted. Guess when you are the only Chinese restaurant open on a Tuesday inmolalla you don't have to even try to have any customer service. I've felt more appreciated calling the dmv. Read more

Every time i get some sort of fried chicken its swimming in so much sauce it never had a chance to be crispy... Its like the... next day after I've put it in the fridge over night and reheated...Szechuan chicken dry... Is what i wanted but it might as wellbe wet style.. severely disappointed Read more
Sorry to say we placed our first order with Happy Family Restaurant and it will definitely be the last! Half of our order was... incorrect (we ordered one fried rice and they gave us three and charged us for all) and we found hair imbedded in the rice andin the chow mein. We called to provide them feedback and the person answering the phone yelled at us and flat out told us wewere lying. We told them we weren't asking for any corrections just giving them feedback and the owner was Extremely rude andhorrible. She told us her husband forgot to turn the heat on the rice so she put it in the microwave for us so it would be hot.We sent them a picture of the hair in the to-go container (sitting on our red placemat) and they told us it was in our sink andthat we planted the hair in the food on the way home from picking it up. Restaurant was clean, The sweet and sour chicken was delicious. The fried rice seemed a little old and dry, I did not enjoy the... BBQ pork or old egg roll. Read more
The food is great and the owners wonderful. The only reason for four vs five stars is the prices are pretty high for takeout.
