The wife and I had dinner there tonight on our way to an appointment. I had the rib special. Ribs were dried out (reheated dried... out not overcooked) and drenched in sauce, an effort to combat the dryness by the cooks no doubt, the pasta salad was good aswas the coleslaw, cornbread was good not fabulous. My wife had the cod dinner. The cod was terrible, (Culvers cod is waybetter) the garlic bread was not good either, the bread was old, and if they hadn't told us it was garlic bread I wouldn't haveknown it. She enjoyed the coleslaw and the baked potato. Overall not a good experience, very disappointing. Read more
Baby back ribs fabulous, and fall off the bone. Full slab too, not shrunken version! Meal served with baked potatoes or fries.... We had both, and were really good. Very large menu to accommodate all types of appetites. Atmosphere very nice like an old timediner but larger. Order at counter. Server brings food. Highly recommend. Read more
I was kind of disappointed by this place. I had heard good things about it, but the food wasn?t as good as I expected. The... atmosphere at this location is great. Nothing wrong with that and tons of room to eat with plenty of booths and tables. Ourtable probably needed to be cleaned a little as it was grimy. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and there was nothing reallyspecial about it. The bun was dried out and pulled pork seemed like the kind you buy from the store. Very disappointing. I wouldnot recommend it at all. My wife ordered the junior version of the pulled pork like me and it was exactly the same asmine. Mindy?s is trying to be like The Patio, but it?s not. I will come back again to try their ribs as that is supposed to betheir specialty. Otherwise, not sure I can recommend this place based on sandwiches my wife and I had during our visit. Read more
Terrible service and awful food. We walked into a female employee sitting on the counter ?cleaning? the area where the cooks put... the food. I don?t think it?s very sanitary to sit on a counter with your shoes on it in a restaurant. We then saw our foodsitting there for a good 5 minutes. The same female employee walked by and looked at it and then went into the back to dosomething else. We finally asked the other boy who was actually cleaning the tables and also is who took my order if that wasour food. He went to check and of course it was, he apologized and I told him the fries were missing and he said he forgot tocharge me as a combo so I needed to come pay for fries. When I came back and looked at my gyro, the meat was all dried out andgross. We told the boy it was dried out and he apologized and went to replace it. The older woman with the long pony tail cameout with my food and said ?Is this good for you? and walked away with no apology. It was much better than the last one but stillnot as good as it had been in years past. I think I?m done with Mindys. The service and food quality gets progressively worse. Ifeel sorry for the poor boy who is being misguided by older employees who should be better role models. Very sad to see whatthis place has become. Read more

My Sister and I stopped in after my doctor visit. Our first experience dining here and they did not disappoint! The menu is... extensive for beef, chicken, shrimp, ribs and salads. We had the Mafia Steak with fries and cole slaw... Delicious??????????Definitely will return!! Read more
