When you call for reservations please remember to ask if there is a big party or other gathering going on. That?s what I was... told I should have done when I inquired why we sat with drinks for over an hour and waited another hour for food that was justmediocre. It?s on us, to do this apparently. A vegetarian request is not out of norms. All my mom wanted was no chorizo on the roasted brussel sprouts, but we had attitude. ... A couple next to us asked Bill if they're wings could be half mild, half hot. Bill quickly said "we can't do that" when mymom, with heart issues asked for decaf coffee, Bill said, " Ill have to brew some," sounding annoyed. As an over worked nurse, idon't walk on egg shells for my boss and I will not have my family do so at dinner!! Especially with today's costs. We were verypolite when asking questions. Great experience here at Emily's. Excellent food and service in a very intriguing atmosphere. The history of the building adds... to the experience. It was hard to decide what to order as everything on the menu looked wonderful. They also have a bar areathat looked pretty cool and had a good number of patrons. We plan to return soon. Read more
I always love going here for special dinners, you know birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, etc, the food is EXCELLENT. The... food never disappoints. I have been here three times and only ever order the mushroom ravioli with asparagus it is so fantastic I'm sure their other... food is marvelous too but haven't tried it.
