Disappointed. We were so excited that they were back open went around 7pm on a Saturday. The hostess walked past us a few... times ignoring us but we were patient. Finally she came to the hostess stand and told is they would not be able to serve usbecause they were far too busy and under staffed. Also she blamed the cook for not being able to keep up amd stated he was notdoing a very good job. The dinning room was the only room being used and was not full. I understand that my be out of anyone'scontrol but it was just two of us and restaurant wasn't set to close until 9pm. We used to come to Surlas prior to Covid..hoping things get better. This location is closed. They were closed even before the pandemic started, so not sure if they plan to reopen. Update: Surla's... has reopened but their hours are limited to lunch. I had the salmon platter which was phenomenal. I would recommend if you havethe opportunity to go. Read more
Took my family to dinner for my wife's 50th birthday. Food and drinks are always great. John Surla always does a great job with... his risotto. I have had the spinich, seafood, and beef risottos at different times, always wanting more. Read more
This place is good for a nice cocktail and appetizer during happy hour. The entrees are decent but a little overpriced. We went... for a prix fix dinner for Valentines day last year. We got placed at a weird table that is kind of in the way. We asked to bemoved but they would not do it even though there were plenty of tables open. We still go there every few months but still havethe same opinion about the place. Read more
