I am not from Modesto and I stopped by this place due to the 4 star review I saw online. I have been to many poke places and it... takes a lot for me to be disappointed when it comes to food in general, but this place is a big disappointment. I made my ownpoke bowl and was so excited to eat it, but when I got home (15 min later) and opened it, I noticed a weird smell. I tasted itand my initial bite was very off. At first I thought it might be the combination of food that was in the bowl (brown rice, tuna,salmon, scallops, etc) but I then noticed after a few more bites the smell was coming from the rice. After closer inspection Irealized the rice was actually bad-- as in spoiled and no longer okay to eat. I know this because I make rice myself often andknow when rice has gone bad. It had a sticky weird film to it with an off putting smell like it had maybe been sitting outsidefor awhile. I had to throw it all away. WASTE of MONEY and don't recommend. Read more

Consistently good, ahi is fresh, medium bowl is very filling.
Not bad?..better yet I am thoroughly impressed. I definitely got what I paid for. I ordered the 3 protein bowl, $13.99 and I got... my money?s worth. Quality food and fast service. Not the friendliest but enough to bring me back next time. Their wasabi sauceis hecka strong. I LIKE IT!!! I will definitely be returning here next time. Worst poke bowl i?ve ever eaten, the salmon was frozen and had an awful fishy taste that did not taste fresh at all, when i had... asked if it was frozen they said it would thaw as soon as soon as we eat it but that wasn?t the case, as it was still frozen inthe middle. Many little options for toppings and toppings looked dirty and old.The customer service didn?t seem to be the besteither, I felt as if the worker was rushing me and had an attitude when I asked about their frozen fish.Everything about thisplace seems unsanitary and didn?t I couldn't finish my food. Overpriced and very few vegetable items, server gave me a small pinch of edamame, I asked for a little more and she charged me a... dollar more. Meats were said to be spicy but we're just bathes in soy sauce. Worst poke ever. Read more
Figured I write the review after eating it so... The poke bowl I got from this place was pretty delicious! Super fresh rice and... crisp ingredients always hits the spot when I'm craving some Poke. The owner is very sweet too! Highly recommend this spot,especially the tea drink c: Read more
I understand that Modesto is not a hot spot for fresh seafood but I mean if you are going to have a poke establishment you... should at least consider having fresh ingredients. I got a large bowl of frozen fish and other fixings. The place looks old anddirty and just ugly. I'm sorry but I am just being honest. I will not be coming back and hope that one day there is a pokespot in Modesto worth visiting. Read more
