First off I?m so disappointed with the service. I went to get an apple. I was so excited. I?ve been more cautious with my health... since this virus. I was watching the employees, the young man working was wearing gloves helping customers. I watched him withmy own eyes, get on the register, handle money, rinsed his gloves, and tried to come help me. I politely asked him to change hisgloves. He asked if it was because of the virus. No it?s a safe serve law thing... Then the young woman working helped customersas well, and of course it?s a cash transaction. She dug around in the cash register and went to scoop ice cream. No washing! Iasked her to wash her hands, she rinsed her hands for 3 seconds. The young man then shouted it?s perfectly fine. No it?s not!I?m so shocked I was treated this way over them doing the wrong thing!! I chose not to get the apple. Read more

Really disappointed ordered a large smoothie at the mall and we all know how expensive they can be. And there was a BIG chunk of... ice on the bottom that did not get chopped it was a least 2 inches high and covered the whole bottom. You would think he'dnoticed it as he poured. So basically I ended up with 3/4 of a drink and a chunk of ice to toss. Read more

Its very good ice cream, i like how how you can choose what they can mix in the ice cream and then they grab it like though. I... never seen that before, but the staff seem like they havent had any long experience with customer service. But it is a franchiseand I dont expecr much from it. Read more

I ordered a Boba tea and the ditz being the counter used a dirty knife to break up the ice. Had to have her use fresh ice.... Wonder how many other times she has cross contaminated things... Read more

When it takes twenty minutes to make a milkshake, the service is too slow. Get the ice cream, help another customer, start... smashing ice cream, talk to another employee, continuing smashing, help a non-customer with directions to the restroom (kid isdripping on floor), add toppings, check with other employee to see why the toppings are low (not even using those), smash theice cream some more, ask me to pay now, put smashed ice cream in cup, and hand it to me without a thank you, or have a niceday. Good thing it tasted good or I might have gotten irritated. Read more

I go to this specific Cold Stone every week sometimes twice a week with my daughter and we order the same thing (blue ice cream... for my daughter with sprinkles and for me will get a mint with almond or sometimes brownie) and we always get the kids the sizebecause in my home we don't believe in wasting food. So, today (6/5/15) around 4:50 p.m. we went in there and one of theiremployees (Bonya) which is a manager helped us and we try to get two kids who and she refused to give me a kids scoop. Iexplained to her we get this all the time and we never have a problem. She told me that she's not giving it to me it's somethingshe's not going to do I asked her to speak to the manager and she looked at me with a smirk and said I am the manager and wasrude about the situation. So I just politely ask for the corporate number and she told me she didn't have it now I know for afact every store carries corporates number I find it funny how she didn't have corporate number. So I paid for my daughtersice-cream and proceeded to look it up online by this time she realized what I was doing and she started to get really nice. Thebusiness she works in is "customer service" and I feel like her customer service was terrible and would have been different ifher store manager or if her District manager had been present. If I had to rate her 1 out of 10 she would get a 2 because shemade my daughters ice-cream but, normal I have no problems but today when I went there in this my first time seeing her it wasterrible and I will not be going back so I will just take the extra 10 to 15 minutes to go to the one on McHenry.
