1-14-22 Five stars the previous time but three stars today. We waited a total of fifteen minutes before we were taken our order.... After 11 minutes of sitting there, there were people who were seated next to us that had their order taken and they came afterus. I then had to ask one of the employees walking by ?Who was in charge of this table?? The person I asked was the same personwho seated us. Eventually someone came and took our order. A bad way to start an evening dinner. As far as the food, it wasdelicious! I savored every bite with the glass of wine ???? I ordered. Prior 5 star review. I?m so glad we came here thisevening! Oh the food is amazing! The flavors and spices will not disappoint! The portions are generous. We received excellentservice from Emily G! She was friendly and professional. I love this place it?s a hidden gem! I love their food. Great home made sauces and dough. Great menu with a range of choices. ... They have a great breakfast but get there early on the weekends because it gets slammed busy and they make everything fresh toorder! Just moved back to Modesto and so happy to have found this place! Stopped in for brunch and my first impression was I loved the... vibe! Very clean, great set up and with 3 areas to the restaurant you can choose which best suits your mood. We were greeted byRosie who has amazing energy and made us feel so welcomed! I started with an espresso and a mimosa. Rosie was not our server butwas wonderful to stop by for questions and to see if we needed anything. I had the Ebelskivers with home made strawberry freezerjam. The egg was perfectly cooked to an over medium, the bacon was crisp and tasty and the Ebelskivers were delicious! And thestrawberry freezer jam was perfect. I met one of the owners, Clay, who was very kind and easy to chat with about hisrestaurant. Everything was great! But 1 main reason I'll go back is Rosie. In this world of entitlement and ugliness with somany people just punching the time clock, Rosie stands out as someone who makes a difference in your day and in your experienceat this restaurant.
