Very small casino, I was not impressed with their so called buffet, the salad was discolored and wilted, there was not much to... choose from and the taco meat (if that is what it was) looked like dried out. really enjoyed ourselves but wish camping by lake had hookups. and road to that area fixed. got a rock in our windshield.
$2100 later is what it takes to help people understand that some businesses need proper training and conduct business by code.... So if you do stay at this place try not to speak your mind or raise your voice. And God for bid your a tribal member . Read more
The bed was terrible it was way to soft & lumpy. The carpet felt sticky. There was a big chair in the room that should of been... tossed years ago. Casino was clean & best of all no smoking!! Read more

First off the employees are amazing, helpful, friendly and if this review was based on their performance it would be 5 stars.... The problem is the room is outdated, the floor is sticky to the point we cannot put bags on the floor, the window blinds arebroken, furniture is dented, busted and worn out. The bathroom is in need of a major update as well. You are succeeding on theshoulders of your employees hard work give them the room updates needed to reward their outstanding efforts. Read more
We liked this casino. It was non smoking throughout while we were there. I got the impression that was a new thing. Signs were... posted saying something like smoking was currently not permitted inside the building. The entire casino was very clean includingthe bathrooms. All staff members were very friendly and appeared to enjoy being there. We felt the machines were somewhat tight.We had no significant win on any of the machines we played. The casino is pretty popular as there were lots of people there eventhough it was early Friday afternoon. The buffet restaurant was open with limited selections and had small menu available aswell. Jonathan helped us and was the only employee in the restaurant at the time we were there. It was about 2:30pm, so lunchwas over and dinner not yet started. It?s pretty typical for restaurants to have limited staff during off hours, so we didn?tmind. We opted for the buffet. There were very few items available, but the things we had were tasty if a little under seasoned.The salad items were all fresh and cold. They had a very good beef barley soup and real mashed potatoes with an pretty goodbrown gravy. There were stuffed cabbage rolls as well that were tasty but needed salt. There were NO desserts on offer and thatwas not good. Overall for the price the food was good and the service was excellent. We would recommend the Grand River for aquick stop while in the area.
