This waffle house redeemed the whole district, most of which sucks. They got everything perfectly correct on the cook and... service was on point. The manager at this location runs a tight ship and should be the district manager rather than just asingle location manager. For clarification, we've had issues (mostly major) with every location in the district. So much so thatthe district manager literally asked us to stop calling corporate office and gave us his cell phone number. Even with the directfeedback he's been unable to correct issues. We were surprised to find out that this location fell under his district since thefood and service were so awesome. Leslie, keep up the great work with properly training your team, they're awesome. Ced, you'rethe best grill operator we've had in over 5 years, keep it up and I'm sure you'll go far. -_____(so sorry I can't remember yourname but tomorrow, I will be editing to give you the full credit you deserve), you were by far the best server we've had inyears, at any restaurant. The atmosphere from a long day at work is refreshing a young lady working there seems to have a positive attitude. She is funny... and very talkative plus smiles. I've only ordered the same thing. Patty melts and it is very delicious. Read more
If you really don't know what you want for breakfast, you can always go to a waffle house. Nothing can really go wrong.
They added partitions up, on the back of the booths, which is Cool! I went to the one on Govt St, next to the interstate. This... one waitress named Wendy, she must don't know about the Pandemic or Social Distancing. She was so close to this one couple, thatI felt sorry for them. Leaning down on their table, talking to them, I was glad that I didn't pick her table, I would have askedfor another waitress. This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. I would give it a better rating if only for one thing... cheese. I ordered an all-star. The meal comes with a hash brown. I... wanted cheese on top of it. When I received my plate. I had a chesseless- When I reminded our server that I requested cheese,she remembers that I asked for cheese and went back to the grill. When she comes back, all she did was slap unmelted cheese onmy hasbrown. That Waffle House quality. The server asked me if this is good..... why would you ask me that, when we both knowIT?S NOT GOOD. This is the first time I've been to a Waffle House where my waitress was confused. She brought me burnt bacon so I ordered more.... My boyfriend ordered toast with his order and he never got it either. We had to wait while we finished our food. By then Ididn't want to just eat bacon by itself. And actually the last Waffle House I went to totally messed up my order in JacksonvilleFlorida. Read more
