I use to love the Dew Drop Inn. However, my friends and I will never return since they chain off their parking lot on Sunday... when it is closed. This is mean spirited. I have been here multiple times before and all I have are good words to say. First off, the customer service is amazing. They... let you choose a seat as soon as you walk in, they take orders and bring them out fast, they are to the point right away, andthey offer free drink/beverage refills. They offer a big selection of food, but the hot dogs and cheeseburgers are the mostchosen as they are well-made almost every time and brought in quickly. The restaurant is also well-decorated, well clean, and amore traditional environment to be around. If you?re looking for any good restaurants in the Mobile area, I would highly suggestDew Drop Inn. I'm new in town and I decided to visit this place after hearing about it. Just like all the rumors said, this place is just... lovely. The onion rings were alright, nothing special, and same with the burger. But the hot dog was truly surprisingly good.My eyes popped when I bit into it - it's definitely going to bring me back again and again. That being said, this place gets 5stars for their staff. We were passing through Mobile and found this restaurant on Google Maps. Very good food!! We had the hamburger & cheeseburger... (with chili), salad with grilled chicken, chicken salad, & fried shrimp. We enjoyed the meal. Read more
I luv this place, everyone was so friendly. This place has been n Mobile 99 yrs as of today. This is amazing to be able to say I... ate at Mobile's Oldest Restaurant. My waitress was amazing as well. It is open for dine-in. The employees were really great. They were so kind. Food is mediocre. If you like unique places to go,... this is a good option, as it is the oldest restaurant in Mobile...as such, the interior is wearing down, but the employeesdid a great job of keeping things clean. I think it's worth going to one time, just for the history, but if I lived in the area, I wouldn't need to go back for the food. Read more
