I absolutely love this restaurant. My boyfriend and I found this place by chance just because we couldn't decide where to eat,... so we chose some place new. I've eaten here a handful of times and every time the customer service is wonderful, they're alwaysso personable, and the food is great! We love the staff. This is our special occasion place. The food is amazing. It's on the more pricey side for us, but it is bc we... always get crab and shrimp. However, we have tried other dishes as well. They are reasonably priced for what they serve. I havezero negative to say about Cajun Corner. If you enjoy sea food, definitely give it a try. Read more
Food has a good taste but you can't convince me this is jumbo shrimp
I had fried oysters and gumbo at my first visit. 5/5. The gumbo is great! I got steamed shrimp this time, 1/5. My shrimp tasted... like bleach. I threw them away and gagged myself. Read more
The calamari is very bland and watery tasting. It was freshly cooked, hot and well battered, however there was absolutely no... seasoning on it! I even sprinkled some salt on it and it still tasted bland. (Please note that I am usually a person that avoidssalt.) The french fries tasted really "potato-ee". The shrimp and oysters were good and the seasoning was well balanced, howeveron a $10 plate (about $9.89) I only received 3 of each and a whole bunch of fries. The calamari was about $10 as well. Thehomemade cocktail sauce was really good. There were these little fried round things included with the calamari. They were a bittart and reminded me of miniature fried green tomatoes. The first time I wanted to call it in to do take-out but unfortunately they don't allow that. You would have to order there and... wait there till it's ready. So I went there during lunch, the prices are good and they do offer daily specials. I ordered thecatfish plate which comes with fries & a side (requested no hushpuppies). The portions were a good amount, I liked the taste ofthe fish but I wasn't pleased with the batter on the catfish because it flakes off easily. I ordered fried okra as my side andthose came out really good. If they have a better ordering system, like being able to pre-pay online for pick-up, I think it'llmake the business more successful. Ok, I love this place. The staff is so sweet and I had a great conversation with them. Made me feel like family. Had a great... energy. I've eaten here twice. I love it and I really want to try the fried rice, but I keel getting the bang bang shrimp,because it's sooooo good. I definitely recommend. Read more
