Brick and Spoon has the best Bloody Mary mix I've had in a long time!! I buy bottles for homemade Mary's regularly... the... different Benedicts are fabulous and the deviled on the Bayou appetizer is our favorite! Service could be better, but everyoneat this location is nice enough.. this particular visit, the chef was running food to the tables, he was working hard to keepguests happy.. we will always go back Read more

Save yourself sometime and money. We arrived at 1025 and waited a few mins for the hostess to turn around, she seemed busy with... takeout orders. We eventually got on the wait list, with 15-20 min wait. During the wait, a few spots opened at the bar, we satdown, only to be told there was a waitlist for the bar. While waiting were noticed there were 9 open tables. 15-20 mins came andwent. 30 mins after checking in, we get seated. We walked right past the still empty bar seats to our table. We were sat acrossfrom another family who was sat 15 mins earlier and was still waiting on thier food. We order drinks and placed out order. Andthen we waited. And waited, and waited. The family next to us, finally started to get thier food around the 40 min mark. Overcooked breakfast meats came out first. Then cold mains. They sent the food back. Ours then showed up at the 40 mins mark. Iordered the American Breakfast and was underwhelmed immediately. The eggs were swimming in the oil/butter they cooked them in.Bacon was hard, a single tiny sausage link, a weird tasting biscuit, and some unseasoned potatoes. My wife got the chickenflorientine benedict, the grilled chicken was what appeared to be chicken chunks. The worst part was they completely forgot herpoached eggs! It's a benedict, that is one of the main components! Paid our bill and got out of there after 1.5 hours! Oh, andthe bar seats were still empty when we left. Smdh Plenty of other options to choose from. Strike this place from your list. Read more

This is a wonderful place to go for a big and delicious breakfast! It might be busy on the weekend since they are popular. I... really like all their good inlets. You can also get good basic scrambled eggs and bacon. The sweet items like pancakes andFrench toast are also good. They have plenty of coffee and juice. The staff is nice and efficient and this place feels cleanand safe to enjoy dine in. Read more

The atmosphere was great! Our server was attentive and sweet. My food was ok, but I only had the brioche French toast and... deviled eggs. My brother had the shrimp and grits and he enjoyed them. The mimosas were just right! Read more

If you?re in search of great breakfast options and delicious mimosa options this is the spot. This visit we ordered the... traditional eggs benedict and my wife ordered the farmers market benedict. The breakfast fries are delicious, crispy, andseasoned perfectly! For the mimosa option we chose the pineapple and mango flavors, both crisp, cool, and refreshing! Just fyiif you?re looking for espresso options like lattes or cappuccinos keep in mind the machine always seems to be?broken?. Read more

We went there about 10:30 Sunday morning and it was already packed with about 30 minute wait. Since there?s a Rouses around the... corner we didn?t mind. Lately it seems to be the norm that a wait staff take your order, serve your food then that?s the lastyou see of them. Not here! Chelsea took our order and checked back with us twice BEFORE our order arrived! Then a few timesafter it arrived! That?s great service! Something most wait staff doesn?t know or don?t care to do. We both ordered the KillerCreole omelette. My first bite had a big shrimp flavor that was almost overpowering but the rest of the omelette didn?t have itas if there weren?t that many shrimps inside. I didn?t get a distinct flavor of the Tasso but overall it was very good! Read more

We got in on Sunday at about 1. It was busy! Ordered a Bloody and a flight of Mimosas. The Mimosas came quick! The Bloody... finally came out about 20 minutes later after I cancelled it. BUT- it was delish! I enjoyed it. Ordered some beignets- theywere good but slightly burnt. Still good though. The kids gobbled em up quick! I ordered the Cajun Omelette and breakfastpotatoes. It was good- nothing amazing- probably wouldn?t order it again though. The wife had the chicken club and enjoyed it.The youngest got the grilled cheese and said it was delightful. It?s a good place- the food is good and the service.. may notbe the quickest- is very friendly and pleasant. If you are in the edge of town and looking for a spot, it?s good. Wouldn?t goout of the way to get it though. Read more
