I asked to substitute my side for a salad due to a wheat allergy. The waitress didn?t know, so she asked another waitress, who... was rude about it. She said I would have to pay an additional 3.99 for a salad. The salad literally had 3 pieces of iceberglettuce, one tomato, and one cucumber. I discussed this with the owner who was also rude to me. I feel bad because our serverwas very courteous but I couldn?t tip due to how the owner responded to my feedback. I ordered the veggie hash brown bowl. Myoptions for sides were hash browns, wheat bread, or wheat pancakes. Obviously, I didn?t want more hash browns and my dietaryrestrictions don?t allow for bread or pancakes. The owner pointed out how expensive lettuce is. I agreed but suggested theyoffer a fruit or veggie option. The owner seemed annoyed by my request. Medium sized menu of various food items to order. A big plus is they serve breakfast all day. The food was prepared very well,... tasted great, and overall made me feel comfortable. Well, the food was good. Besides that, I can't say much else. The service was okay, friendly waitress, not the speediest in the... world though. What really was the kicker was the [assumed] owner's family sitting next to us putting their child intime out right behind where we were sitting. My boyfriend recently had major surgery and this child was relentlessly kicking hischair with no intervention from the parents or anybody. And at the end, we ended up having to go to the bank to get moneybecause they failed to mention when they took our drink orders that there was no card service in the restaurant at the time.TL;DR: Good food, meh everything else.
