We love Bamboo Spice! Lo mein, Chinese curry, and twice cooked pork belly are some of our favorites that we come back to again... and again. The steamed shrimp+veggies and chicken+veggies are great diet options. The crab puffs are out of this world! Theservice is always very good. We were there the other night for my Mother-in-Law?s birthday, seated at their big family-styletable, and the owner brought out a plate of freshly fried crab puffs with birthdays candles for her. This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Every dish I?ve tried has been so fresh, hot, and delicious but on... another level of delicious. The soup dumplings are especially delectable. By other favorite dish is the crispy tofu. Best tofuI?ve had since Van Loc in midtown (RIP). And the owner and her staff are so charming and sweet. We get takeout from this place often and recently noticed they are cutting back on their portions. Just ordered from them a few... days ago and the portions we ridiculously small. I got the spicy crispy beef which is $17.95 and they only put enough to coverthe bottom of the container. It almost looked like my order was split or half of it was taken out. I?ve been ordering from themsince they first opened and I?ve never got such small quantity before. We took it back to the store but they were closed bythen. Very disappointed because they increased the prices so they should at least keep the quantity the same. Read more
Welcome to the family! That?s how they will treat you here at this incredible restaurant. A small, quaint dining room with... simple decor hides a superb kitchen of true culinary craftsmanship. This is regional Chinese cuisine with heavy influence fromSzechuan province. Perfectly spicy peppers add flavor explosions to the crispy chicken and fish. The pork soup dumplings take anextra minute, but are the best I have had since moving from California in 2008. Just a tremendous establishment worth the waitand price. Read more

A friend of mine recommended this place and I finally got around to trying it with my parents. They really liked it. The hot and... sour soup has good flavor, just a little heat, but is a bit thin. The spicy crunchy beef was too spicy for my taste. The mangobeef was excellent, very tender and actual pieces of mango in it. I actually would like this dish with a bit more kick. Thechicken and eggplant was the real winner. I'm not an eggplant fan but my mom loved it and I thought the chicken in it was great.My parents are already talking about going back. Read more
