Excellent salad and green smoothie, I am from out of town so it was very hard to find something healthy. This is the place!
Healthy, flavorful, and fresh! Basal would be our go-to breakfast/lunch spot if we lived in Missoula. We stopped by on our way... through and each had a salad. Both were unique and flavor-balanced and also filling, having protein and grain. We also had oneof the best espressos we'd every had. Get the green smoothie as well! We also were admiring some of the cooking books near theutensil bar and got to talking with who I assumed was the owner. Very genuine person and interested in the art of cooking. Excellent vegetarian quiche for breakfast, it's even gluten free. Side of greens were fresh and crunchy with a very good... dressing. One of the best I've ever had. Wonderful service and nice location. Read more

If you need, or merely just want a superb salad eat here! They have wonderful salads or you can pick you own. Also, a very good... looking smoothie menu and they even provide a tea menu. Splendid. Read more
We ordered takeout during pandemic conditions. The salads weren't bad...they were just disappointing. The ingredients were... excellent quality, but it seemed like they were just sort of dumped in a box and put in a paint-shaker. So glad I didn't orderan extra $0.75 piece of bread...the ones we got were miniscule (as in fit-inside-a-toilet-paper-tube-small) and reallyunsatisfying. I had a salad with smoked salmon, and the handling of this delicate ingredient was savage at best! For a $20salad, I guess I expect some finesse and respect. Read more
Ludicrously expensive for the area, but it is very wholesome and quality food. They have just simple and good broth, and that... really does hit the spot in autumn. The rest of the menu items, including salad, soup, and smoothies were all good. If I had tocompare, Biga has comparably just as awesome salads (and depending on the special, better), GFS can provide a comparable butinconsistent alternative for the smoothie, but I can't say the quality of soup is being matched locally on a consistentlevel. So I would come for the soup and atmosphere absolutely. Read more
