I used to be regular to a Thai place express in downtown Toronto back in the days pre-covid. I used to love food there and also... the good service i had in that place. I went today to this location and what a disappointment. 1. They can remove something fromyour dish say tofu but they don’t replace it for anything else. If you want say a piece of ginger or mushrooms instead theycharge you extra but don’t subtract anything for the tofu. 2. The flavor is not good. Mine was actually bad if you comparewith other Thai express stores 3. The customer service is not a thing here. I don’t recommend the place. There are other goodplaces here like Freshii, A&W, Jimmy the greek, Teriyaki to name some that I can recommend. I almost forgot to say, I orderedno spicy and guess what, it was sooo hot that i had to “clean it” at home. I guess they forgot and i did not realized untili was home. Read more

Since the pandemic a lot of food chains, especially restaurants. The quality of food has really suffered. This is the second... time I’m getting food from this location and I wish I didn’t. The food is inedible. I ordered the General Thai Chicken, itwas undercooked and weird tasting (tasted like undercooked flour and batter). Even the rice wasn’t good. I love Thai Expressand I’m now super disappointed and won’t be ordering from this location for a long time. After this I wish there was a wayto rate less than one star. Read more

With so few options in EMTC food court, this is one of the favourites when we are here. The cashier changes now and then, but... the "chef" is almost a constant at this location. One can now order to vegan a meal. Earlier, all you had to do was tell themto use a veggie sauce and not to add eggs. Glad Thai Express is acknowledging vegans. Ordered a Tofu Pad Thai with veganoptions and with no or little oil. This no oil option cuts the fat content of your choice significantly and I believe does notcompromise on the taste as much. The noodles cooked perfectly and the sauce plenty. The Tofu pieces are not consistent as withother locations, some offer pan fried, this location gives deep fried which I don't prefer, but it's OK. The taste was amazing,although I would prefer to be a bit less sweet and perhaps a little sodium in it. The noodles came piping hot which is perfectfor me. Read more
