May02/22 - Just bought my first Beef Teriyaki since the pandemic hit and it has to be the worst one i have ever had. I asked... for takeout, it was packaged in a cardboard container and that is what the food tasted like - CARDBOARD. The meal was dry, notenough syrup, the beef had an off flavor, did not taste like beef. There's $14 and change i will never spend again at thisplace. Sorry, but keeping it real. Huge disappointment. Location is not what it used to be. Food quality and portions have gone down significantly. My food was dry, there was no... vegetables at all, no carrots no broccoli, just a little bit of cabbage. The noodles were flavorless and I asked for extrasauce. The portions used to ooze with sauce, now they are dryer than a cold Canadian winter day. Please bring back the qualityyou had pre-pandemic! If I could give zero stars I would. Save your money and DO NOT go here. My meal was absolutely DISGUSTING. Was given thin DRY... noodles, absolutely no teriyaki sauce on my meal, even though I asked for extra sauce. No vegetables given anymore in the meal.Maybe a few pieces of chicken. Barley hanging on due to pandemic. Unfortunately, they cut back on quality and value. ?Vegetables??? 99% cabbage! I counted... one carrot sliver and one small piece of broccoli. service is super slow. You don't get spring roll like some locations and they said they would have to charge me extra when I... asked for a little more teriyaki sauce in my food politely. They seem to barely put any sauce in to begin with. That was thelast straw for me refusing to give free sauce. I have never heard of this in my life, refusing to give customer sauce lol. While I?m leaving my old review down below, I would like to update the stars from 3 to 5, because the food is delicious, and is... cooked super quick. Teriyaki experience will always be one of my favourite places to eat, their teriyaki is so unique anddelicious, it?s hard to beat. We arrived at 6:30pm, google maps says closes at 8, THE SIGN ON THEIR DOOR, says closes at 8, andyet we went out of our way to come here, and the place wasn?t even open. I stopped by on Friday around lunch time. They did not have any rice, which was weird considering its a staple of their menu.... The place itself was pretty dirty, both behind the counter and in the seating area - especially considering its located in afairly new storefront. They seemed to be understaffed and there was just one person doing everything which made the servicepretty slow, but the guy was nice. I had the sesame beef with noodles and ($13) and it was ok but not very balanced in terms ofingredients (way too many noodles compared to everything else). it was a bit disappointing because this place use to be verygood and have delicious food but it looks like it's gone downhill. terrible location. I love the Pan Asian Shrimp w. Udon noodles. This was the first time I visited this locations, and I can't... say I enjoyed one of my regular choices. It also had a differnt smell. At other locations, it normally comes with shrimppeeled- these had full shells, tails on, and the smallest things I've ever seen. Feel bad for the gentleman that was workingthere- he was the only person to take orders and cook. Often putting the cooking on hold while there were people wanting toplace orders. Read more
